What's the most you've knowingly overpaid for a card?

Made a purchase from someone on ebay with the username "card23hk". Very similar username, should I be concerned?

I think they are different people,all i know is that "card23hk" have had shilled auctions when i looked at a couple of auctions.

Alot of 0 feedback with a billion bid retractions.

Personally i wont sell to china nor purchase from China,out of my three lost claims two was China and one USA.

Thanks for the tip. Something I will keep in mind for the future. Least the purchase was under $100 so if it turns sour I haven't lost a large sum of money.

For me if I want the card bad enough and have the money to waste, then I'll pay a stupid price....to a point lol

@Brendan M I have bought from card23hk and they are fine. Do have to watch for shill bidding but if you only bid up to what you want to pay then that issue is irrelevant.

That is a good point. I personally will only pay or bid on something up to what I'm comfortable with / what I think an item is worth. Have I lost a few auctions etc because of it? sure, but at least I didn't pay above and beyond market value then regret it later down the track. Each to their own though..

Card23hk has about 20 D Favours cards ending over the next few days. Heaps of one of ones and Logomen. There's about 6 one of ones listed. They must be selling off a Pc. I've bought a few cards from them and they have been great. Unfortunately the last card I bid on I was winning with a second to go and then. It sold to someone else somehow with a bid 1cent higher then mine. How's that even happen.
