Benji is worth more than what the Broncos are rumoured to be paying him off the field alone, he will sell the equivalent in merchandise, he is awesome with the fans, there is no chance he will be a d***head, he will have the sponsors logos on TV all the time.

I am disappointed he didn't fire this year and sorry he didn't think $300k was a fair offer earlier on in the season.

Ross
I still think Benji is a good fit at the Broncos and hopefully he can start playing his best football in years, K

I like Benji and I think that in the right circumstances he can be a great addition however I can't see him playing anywhere but the halves. This situation reeks of the Scott a Prince signing in 2013 which sent Norman south.

I hope Hunt isn't made out to be a scapegoat and leaves because I have no doubt his good mate Norman is in his ear, 'come to Parra with me'.

None of them would be on massive $$$.

Think we can offer ponga something cows can't, a regular halves spot.

All those players have only played 15 NRL games combined.

Ponga would be mad to leave the mentoring of one of the greatest players ever.

This is where the cap needs to be rectified. A team develops a player to the point of first grade and then they are poached. Every club does it, needs to be something in it for the clubs who develop

True that but does he want an established place in the halves sooner

Can't see him replacing Morgan as a 6 and how long until Jt retires

2018 JT has said will be his last year im fairly sure

No reason he couldnt fit into almost any position in the backline until that point. Morgan to backrow even

Morgan belongs in the halves or the very least at fullback. Sure his role as a utility for QLD means he plays a roving lock forward role at times but 80 mins each week in the backrow is a bit of a stretch. Im guessing you are comparing him to Wade Graham who made the switch from 5/8th to backrow?

Good signing especially with Bird gone.

Consistency is key with him o reckon.

Tigers have apparently released Naiqama now they have Idris.........crazy IMO.

Idris could struggle then what

Idris is 27/28 now?

Still plenty of time left in the game but it has changed so much since he has been gone as Hayne found out.

On Proctor I think the ability of the Titans halves to play short and direct will be what makes or breaks him. As a back rower he is solid but not sensational however he runs great lines in the red zone and if the GC halves and do what Cronk does for him they he will be a great signing.

Sharks title defence is going to be tough now. No Michael Ennis and Ben Barba released from his contract.

Danny Wicks retires from the NRL immediately - congrats on the comeback from his past and getting to retire on his terms after signing a new 2 year deal with the eels only 2-3 months ago
