Well, it's finally happened. I've actually managed to gather up some PC cards, scan them in and form it into a mailday!

It's been a while so some of you may have forgotten who I PC. I continue collecting Kidd, Stockton and Bird on my brother's behalf (although the Kidd PC is about to go). I've actually come to really appeciate Bird and Stockton as guys who rose to the pinnacle of their sport even though they really had no athletic or physical advantages, just a will to win and the odd dirty play.... ;-P Mashburn is my main guy from the 90s, the Big O is my favourite player of all time and Q-Pon keeps the hobby interesting for me, plus I really like the way he plays and the way he handles himself both on and off the court.

So anyway, here's some PC stuff. Starting off with the low end stuff and working my way up to the more deent offerings...

The humble commoners, inserts and parallels...

The Obligatory GU

Mashed fabric aka Mashburn GU - quite a nice looking design

The Kidd - nice and SP /25

Q-Pon!
I dont normally collect parallels or GU of Q-Pon but the lack of recent product meant I lashed out at this...

Bird & McHale GU - Frontcourt for the ages!

The Patchwork

Larry Jumbo patch - I know these are manaufactured, but it's still, er, very big and um, bigger is better, right?

Actually my second one of these, but arguably an upgrade over the former...judge for yoruself!

The Scribble

Already had at least one of these but had to save it from the ignomity of bargain bin status!

...and same for this Next Day auto, had plenty but couldn't pass up another big on card auto going cheap...

Kidd NT auto - real nice design and couldn't turn it down!

...and finally some more goodness for the long neglected Stockton PC!

Not just once......

.....but twice!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and having a gander. As always, likes and comments are most appreciated.

I think John Stockton is an all-time baller who we can all (mostly) relate to. Being relatively short (although I would give anything to be his height LOL) and not athletic but being a really creative and intelligent player makes Johnny Stockton one of my all-time faves. Would have been nice if him and the Mailman could have fit a championship in there somewhere but not everyone can be winners. Loving the old school 90's Mashburn inserts and obviously the Stockton on-card autos! Great mailday once again Skip!

Patch on that past and present Qpon is brilliant.
Great to see the old greats getting some love, Mash, Kidd, Stockton etc. Awesome stuff.

I have a ton of respect for Bird and Stockton, both dominant with little to no athleticism and they still kicked major butt! Great mailday thanks for sharing.

I learned the nuances of the pick n roll and post play from watching Stockton, Malone and the Jazz. They were only ever one half decent player away from that title.....and Greg Ostertag was hardly an asset, just bad timing and always running into those pesky Bulls in the Finals. Basketball IQ can never really be taught, you either have it or you don't and Stockton had it in spades!

Nice Stockton stocks there, that last one is killer and pretty rare by the looks of it!

I should have put some serial numbers up there. Next Day auto is /97, Crusade /349, Limited /99, Studio Dual GU /249, Abs Mem GU /25, Letterman patch /30, Gamers Patch /14, NT auto /25, Select auto /25 and HP auto /50

To be honest the new breed of game doesn't excite me that much. Combo guards, stretch 4s, scoring first PGs, face up centres.... I liked it when the big men played big, PGs passed first and foremost and there were pure shooters who put this generation of small ball, run n gun ballers to shame!

Very nice assortment there mate. Well done

Cheers mate, that assortment is actually all PC though - heh heh. Eclectic mix of guys I suppose!

Awesome PC additions. Love the q-pon pick ups!

No decent Q-Pon releases in any new release stuff so just doubling up on some older stuff and reaching out to some of the lower #d GU. Everything you saw except the Abs Mem GU is a duplicate or triplicate!

Bird wouldn't have been that more physically gifted than Brian Scalabrine but the way he wore his heart on his sleeve and went to work every night was admirable. Even more so his legendary work ethic and hustle. Great example for succeeding in any field on or off the court I suppose!

Solid mailday mate. Really like the Stockton Select Auto and the Larry Legend letterman patch! Nice Kidd's too :)

The odd Kidd just keeps finding its way into the PC!!! Still undecided on the manufactured letterman patches but yes that Select Stockton really does pop when in hand.
