I somewhat agree with this. Hayne was and still be a wonderful player but he has been away from the game for two years. Remember when Gasnier went to French Rugby? It took him a while to get back into similar form.

He is 28 and the game has changed significantly since he has been away. He is an amazing athlete but would you pay significant overs just because he is Hayne?

For the record I think it is complete BS that Hayne can play this season.

How is this fair to other clubs?
Especially those in a tight battle with the Titans for spots 6, 7, 8

I don't begrudge the Titans having something go there way, they have had a rough time of it and shown some real grit to get to their current position.
 
The June 30 deadline is to prevent NRL players going from club to club.

It doesn't prevent players from other codes or comps joining, I believe.

Still, it's good for the game.

And since Buzz is off and away because of his own scandals, he ain't around to bitch about it. Happy days!
 
Your right about the June 30 rule, doesn't apply to non NRL players hence the loop hole. Great for the game, great for GC but not fair for other clubs. Anyways them the breaks, look forward to seeing what he can do
 
He seems to be a great man manager. Players seem to form very strong bonds with him and play for him.
 
Dylan Waker would have to have the record for most times tackled with the ball on the 5th. Has no idea how to kick the ball.
