Robert Parish aka The Chief! Played until he was 43 years old and was still a full time starter for the Celtics at age 40!
Part of that legendary Boston frontcourt with Bird and McHale which won titles in 81, 84 and 86. He also won a title with the Bulls in 97 even though he logged a total of 18 minutes in the playoffs that year. Still he's a multiple all-star and legit HOFer, an absolute legend of the game!
I've chucked in this highlight for those young bloods who may not seen much of the prime time Celtics. Check out the straight out rejection (McHale), quick pass up the floor in transition (Bird), the pinpoint feed across the lane (Dennis Johnson) to the trailing big (Parish) who finishes with authority over the noted shotblocker Tree Rollins. BEAUTIFUL! ....and yes, that's four Celtic HOFers featured in that one single play!
