Today's market with the cost of everything else sky rocketing I can't see any modern card holding their value. To be honest I recon the values will get worst look how quickly from release date prices fell for traders and last years Elite. Give it 2-3 months after Elite's release and LS will be picked up for $60-$80. Sucks when you shell out decent money.

Could you imagine Dynamic cards going for $1500 in 1994?
The only problem with the market now is everyone is longevity.
Cards of more limited numbers at a better quality from ESP are not as highly valued as 10 year old cards in bigger numbers from select...
Why?
It's been hammered a million times, So I won't go over it again....
The only difference is most of selects cards came or were coming from one person/group.
I tell you now, If Benji Sigs are going for $60 - They'll only be going to one place...

I want a Rocket Reddy or Craig Young sig card.
Card values are difficult to call. A set like 08 Centenary will only ever increase in value despite being double the quantity of a normal series 2 release.
Individual cards like League Leader Blacks, JT's 06 Invincible signature, Inspirations from 05 Power and the Captains Signatures from 04 Authentic & 09 Classic never go under valued.
The market is down and has been for a while. Rarely will a series 1 release like Traders & Champions hold significant value although the 13 Traders legends, particularly Johns fetch really good $$$.
Totally agree just wish the value of the better players LS hold. Traders legends have great potential to gain in value as you said Johns is up there along with Raper.
They should do best of the 70's for next years legends before they die. Raudonikis, Billy Smith and Hastings all great premiership halves now there's value!

I seriously think some of the recent Sigs will hold value if not go up. I wonder what people would pay for a V.Holmes YG in a year or two, even now people are trying to find them with no luck. as for the years SASS I think the Ennis Sig will go up in value. Ive only seen 5 for sale
My personal belief is that the reason for ESP signature prices being so low is 1. Master set collectors are much rarer and 2. Availability
You could get a Select series 2 from a handful of newsagents in Brisbane but Elite is everywhere. So many people who aren't collectors buy a few packs, hit a signature and try and flip it in EBay for a quick profit

How are they technically not 1/1. The card has 1/1 printed on the back and they were the only cards printed I haven't seen duplicates of the cards. They were actually 1/1 nothing technical about it.
Pre sales up on eBay naming players for engine rooms and run and guns
It is such a joke that so many people know what is in the release but yet ESP wont let the majority of us know what is in the release it pi$$es me off. Release a god damn checklist for everyone not just some favourites!

based on the list of players it seems 2 backline (W,FB, C, HB, F8) players and two frontline (frf, 2rf, lock, hooker)
