you forget wade is a lot younger then kobe, both great players, but I wouldn't put wade in the same sentence as kobe either...

First up: The Lakers should be announcing Timofey Mozgov as a Laker soon... Offering him $16m USD a year.

I know. That's more $$$ a year than the points he scored in the playoffs this year (15).

yep...pretty dismal...but having said that, the time of the dominant centres have diminished, its small now and when you look at the dominant centres being boogie cousins, Dwight howard, deandre Jordan and andre drummond, its slim pickings!!!

Also with the salary cap increasing next season and the season after. Rather significantly too..

I agree and surely he won't be the starter? And if not then why not just resign Hibbert for far less and shorter deal.
I can't get my head around it.
Where is the Whiteside deal we were expecting?
Just read they resigned Clarkson, at least I have something to be happy about tonight

There is still a chance that Horford stays when you consider the cap space we still have after Howard, but that realistically won't happen unless, well, something huge and spectacular happens in the Hawks Front Office. #ComeBackAl
 
Hawks have $19mill in cap space, but if you factor in Horfords bird rights then it's pretty much none. So either Bazemore or Horford will be gone if you do the numbers with the difference being that the Hawks can go over the cap to retain Horford.

Exactly.
Imagine a frontcourt of Millsap, Horford & Dwight, compared to a frontcourt of Bazemore, Millsap & Dwight... The first one is damn scary.
