Official 2015-16 NBA Season Thread

They won by double digits against Portland without Steph and lost one game. With Steph back, they won by single digits against Portland? Not a big sample size so no idea where you're going with this.

Bringing up a point from a month ago is lame because..?
Because..... you weren't bringing this up when they were down 3-1.

So they won 1 and lost 1 without Steph, hell they may have lost that series without him.

Steph is still the only franshise guy there.

You're the one that tagged me in a post man.

What does them being down 3-1 got anything to do with the discussion of Klay being a franchise type player? Golden State as a whole were struggling against OKC. Klay was obviously on fire this game, but I'm talking about his body of work for the whole playoffs, especially without Curry in the line up. In fact, me bringing it up way before Steph got injured and the playoffs began, lends even more credence to the fact.

And you still haven't answered why it's lame.

Bro the guy is a beast, guards the others team best player and shoots the lights out. of course steph is a franchise guy but so is he. No one is letting Thompson walk so the can keep Green

It's more pathetic actually, tagging me in a post as if somehow all of a sudden you're right and I'm wrong.

You think Klay is a franchise player, I still don't, why drag me in to this. Just enjoy the the win as a Warriors fan.

His whole body of work had them on the ropes. Steph is the MVP, Dray 3rd in voting and Klay is a franchise player according to some (which I'm fine with people feeling that way) and they have not been impressive these Playoffs.

His 25PPG is nice, but in an uptempo paced team of course there's gonna be 2 guys averaging 25 plus.

I'm not sure why you're hell bent on convincing me. You won't. Klay mostly has to get his points off screens and transition looks. If he was the no. 1 guy I think he'd still get his points but there would plenty more guys I'd go after for my franchise.

No, they won two by double digits without Steph. And having Curry, the undisputed MVP (no one is even remotely suggesting Klay is the MVP) back on the team, will undoubtedly make them a better team and of course, they could have lost the series. You take LeBron out from the Cavs, do they lose a series with Kyrie? Probably, but that doesn't mean Kyrie isn't a franchise player.

@drobfan8 you've got some real deep seated issues man. It's not about being right or wrong. It's just about opinions. I'm not trying to convince you either way, it's called a discussion. Peace out.

I think props should go out to steph, klay and draymond...the best threesome in the nba!!! steph is a freak shooter and overall scorer, is a danger anywhere on the floor and really wears his heart on his sleeve on the court, he tries hard and has improved defensively--but that is still is weakest part of the game, I still think to be considered in the upper echelon of nba greatness he needs to at some stage reach that defensive pinnacle, draymond is pretty much a poor mans lebron and a lock down defender, he gets a lot of open looks with the splash brothers of course getting all the attention and has become a more than adequate 3pt threat, though has struggled at times in the post season...klay is a franchise player and I think gets overlooked a lot, the guy is as a good a shooter as steph, maybe he doesn't have his unlimited range and crafty sneak through to the basket moves and doesn't have the ball handling skills or playmaking skills of steph or draymond, but the guy always gets the toughest defensive assignments and still can do it on offense...give the guy some credit!!!

Not sure if some around these parts still see Klay as not being a franchise type player.. @drobfan8 I mean, all he's doing is averaging 25.5 PPG and shooting 42% from trey this playoffs. Who's that other dude on the Warriors team? Think he won an MVP or something but can't even match Klay's numbers.
Look man id have to agree with @drobfan8, nothing taken away from klay hes a terrific shooter (AT GS) but if you were to put him anywhere else(other team) i think you wouldnt see this klay to be honest, that is my opinion. Cheers
