Thought I would start a thread of cards you regret selling

I used to own these years ago and i still have nightmares about selling them
I think I got like $30 for the Curry patch

Steph curry/blake griffin rookie dual auto from 2009-10 seaso update. But i already had a blake auto and steph auto (steph being 09/10 prestige bonus shots black #157), so ....

I usually regret not selling cards quick enough as when I do get around to selling the hype has gone away.

I have never regretted selling though as the money has always been used for something better.

Sold 2 LeBron Exquisite RPA's. Made an enormous amount of money but should have kept at least 1.

Also bought a KD 3 color exquisite for $500 then that weekend he won the 3 point contest and all star mvp i think so i sold it for $1000. Nice gain but terrible to sell so soon.

Wow sick cards especially the logoman...I would've thought the 2015 run would have his cards near peak anyway?

These threads always make me laugh. Notice how most people don't regret not having the card, they just regret not making more money down the line.

I'm in line with postgsl, if I sell a card, usually it's not part of one of my chases.

one card I come close to regretting selling was my 04/05 Exquisite auto patch M. Jordan. I doubt I'll ever spend that much on a card again.

I agree with you there. Money tends to be the big measure of regret here for a few.

Here are some I have parted with and wish I had not.

Had thought of going for the set which I should have.

Again another one I love the cards and really should have gone for the set.

And this

And another one, had a few, thought about the set, but decided not to. Should have. I did have about 15 in the set I think.

But at least some of them (like this next one) found their way into the hands of great player collectors on these boards in Australia......hopefully they still hold them.

And with this one, I had the whole set....... and decided to break it up. Bad decision





His auto is so hard to come by, so shouldn't have sold it up I think.

I regret always selling an MJ Auto.

I know this is not a card, but still regret selling it.

Good lord, what an epic lot of cards. So hard to find most of those now.

I remember you breaking up the "Finalists" set as I purchased the Robinson/Olajuwon. Actually that his probably a card I regret selling. I stopped my D. Rob pc as player collecting just doesn't work for me, but man I should have kept that card. I don't think I've seen one since.

Yes another I wished I had kept. Love the Admiral - Dream match ups. Really loved the Dream Shake! There are a couple of dual autos I would really want to pick up, and that would be one of them.
