How come less members post their box breaks lately?

Its pretty rare to see new box breaks pop up these days. It seems over half full with group break advertising.

I love watching everyones breaks whether good or bad (It makes you not feel so unlucky when you realise others bust bad boxes too)

Is it people are busting far less? cant be bothered posting unless its a MOJO post?
 
Hmmm, facebook hey.

Also don't forget the Cherry breaks, a lot of people jump on those.

I'd love to bust something, but it would have to be old school like 93/94 Upper Deck or Fleer Ultra.

Group/teams break are non stop. One fills another three are listed.

For NRL there is no real value or incentive to bust boxes, almost better off just buying what you need. If you do bust them then you need to start a sales/trade thread asap to get any value to get the cards you need as the price plummets daily.
 
Damn facebook - ruining everything.

Although I do have to admit to being a little lazy and only posting decent hits in the mailday section thse days instead of the pack by pack threads of old. Not that many products have more than 1 pack these days anyways

Maybe time to see if another Box Busting day could be organised like in 2013 to generate a little more interest in there again, as long as @drob50 gives his blessing for someone to organise it (or actually gets back to contributing to the community again himself :P)

Good call Bru!

I might start but uploading a few breaks of my own from the last few weeks, after months of not opening anything at all.

I would also be more than happy to work with @graham @Billyhoyle and @Matt26 to get another bust event going for 2016. Not that anything on here needs my blessing :lol:
 
yep facebook...damn social media has taken over...and because there are a zillion different facebook trading pages it has taken away from here some what...shame really because I have always preferred the community here...
 
I haven't had the cash to bust anything over the past year as I was saving for a house and a holiday. I flew in from Hawaii yesterday where I purchased 2 boxes of 15-16 Select, 2 boxes of 15-16 Gold Standard and a blaster box of Complete. Was good to be back and I will definitely be doing it again very soon (both the holiday and the breaks!)

I will post pics of the break when I get a chance.
 
I think the majority of people here misunderstood what I meant...

Why dont people seem to post the pics of their own box breaks in that section very often these days?

disagree I think everyone makes a valid point in regards to what you stated at in your thread...people have switched over to facebook forums and cant be fagged double/triple posting and I think with the low aus dollar people haven't busted so much? at the end of the day its anyones guess I suppose with why?
 
I don't think I have busted a box in at least 6mths, I have been focusing on tidying up cheap set chases and grabbing 14-15 rookie singles for a PC. Hopefully the other half starts her new job shortly and I will have a bit of free coin as I love smashing boxes. I think I'll try and save it up and get 1-2 cases per year of something I like to get sets and also not mix out on case hits ;). The US $ has been a pain and definitely slowed down the busting
 
What Billyhoyle said is true. I now only bust a box every couple of months, where as I join group breaks more often because they are cheaper, shipping is near-nothing and I enjoy seeing good hits, which happen more in group breaks than single boxes.
