Thought I'd scan in some pics of the 'bigs' I've picked up in recent times. What was noticeable was how the role and players occupyng the '5' spot over time has changed, as exemplified by these very cards...and the fact I have to teach my 6'3' junior centre how to do a crossover dribble.

The Future - The new breed are all pretty nimble up and down the court, most can swing between C and PF and most can play away from the basket (or facing it)。 There aren't a heck of a lot of 'true 7 footers' either. The modern game is all about speed and agility, even by big guy standards!

Well, that's about all for now. Thanks for having a look and reading my rambling thoughts if you had the time. As always - comments are always appreciated. ..and everything here is up for grabs as part of a trade or sale. Always happy to try and help a PC if I can!

Great random lot of cards.
My fave is probably the Shawn Bradley auto!

Wow! Of all the cards... It does take me back when I was right into the card scene in the early 90s and a godo Bradley RC or insert was quite the big deal!

Huge batch of big men.
Always been a huge fan of David Robinson.
Awesome stuff mate.

Gotta love the Admiral! Classy act on and off the court - one of the best all-round and complete Centres of all time imo...

As always great lot of cards!

What it lacks in quality it makes up for in quantity! lol

Interesting read as always professor skip
A few of those cards looked familiar

Hmmm, more like Associate Professor so many Xs & Os to learn, so little time! Thanks for the recent deals too, extra credit for you next semester!

Awesome array of players and cards in this mailday skip!

Busting boxes and cases would be great fun but variety is the spice of life! I need to look at different stuff from time to time!

Always love the range on players and cards in your maildays! Some great big men in there for sure!

I look at the same old boring faces at work each day so it;s good to spice the faces up on the cardboard frontier! You'll probably appreciate my next mailday a lot more! ;-)
