NRL 2016

I find this amazing, now it appears as if Jennings goes to Parramatta on a rumored $800k a season.

Parra, who have a diabolical salary cap record, get rid of an under performing and over paid Hoppa and then decide to pay even more for Jennings who touches the ball about 2 times a half.....go Parra!!!

Cheers
Ross
Yeah I agree it's a joke paying that much for jennings (hoppa was on $800k with the eels, the board still haven't learnt their lesson if true), this also fits in with the rumours that eels are set to lose pauli pauli to knights and junior paulo to raiders to accomodate for jennings. Which i really hope is all just rumours and nothing more

it seams like parra are doing a manly in the eighties, buying a premiership.

Is a big pass mark for parra's recruitment drive for 2016 once Jennings is added

Would have fair arguments to say we have the best winger and centre in the Comp once the Jennings deal is finalised.

Our salary cap issues were 2014 and prior so there will be no issues adding what we have recruited to our team.

You have to remember we have lost some over priced hacks (sandow and Hopoate), never had the opportunity to replace Hayne last year as his nfl dream came October 2014.

Scott (unwell child needs treatment at Westmead hospital), Gordon (sharks didn't want him), Jennings approached us and Foran wanted to play under Brad Arthur. There would be players on 'unders' to be with parra unlike previous years where we offered stupid money to attract players.

How about -
Least tries in the season - Dragons
Most tries conceded - Dragons
Most boring in attack - Dragons
Wooden spoon - Dragons
1st Coach sacked - Mary (with any luck)

Ken, I hope thats its not true with any of the above, have some faith.
The knights and the titans are still in the running.

Just a moment of weakness Dave, I'll be a supporter again in the morning :-)
I mean, it's not the first time we've had this sort of season start, we've had other 'L' plate coaches in recent years....Brown, Price and now McGregor, so I guess I should be more resilient.

Thanks Mirren, but their try scoring wasn't a real feature last season, so not much has changed, and any team watching their outside back defence would be licking their lips.

Anyone else think that this looks pretty close to the top 8 teams come season end? Different order but think about 6 of those will be there at least.

Eels, Manly and Warriors trying to force their way in?

Eels definitely, Warriors certainly if they can gel and stop blaming all their issues on the coach!

Tigers, can be world beaters on their day, never rule them out, Titans have been okay in the first two rounds.

I would love to say Raiders are top 4 but I think more likely somewhere from 5-8.
