Mark, is that what wifes are worth these days 600 for 24 hrs, I think I better give her a raise.
I wasn't going to post anything after the Corey Parker redemption card saga but i am greatly disappointed in the whole thing? I understand that the seller or owner of the item can choose who he or she thinks where it should end up but to have a "make an offer" and get strung along the way in which this was handled is an uproar. I am not a sore loser nor am i a harsh critic on the winner but why did i make an offer when i should have realized from the opening post that it when the Parker was found no matter what offer i made i was never going to win? Very disappointed indeed. Katrina.

I will say this only once and then will not be commenting on this matter again:
The Parker card was open to offers for about a week originally. A number of people made offers early on, some made a number of offers over the course of a couple of days. It was not an auction and there was no bidding. Those offers were not disclosed by me to any other person in order to induce higher offers. As things had died down on the offer front I made the decision to shorten the 7 day period down to 5 days.
Each offer was considered on it's merits and I chose the offer that suited me best. That is my prerogative and I stand by the decision that I made. The whole process was as simple as that.
I understand there will disappointment for those that missed out. We have all been in that position at some stage and know the feeling.
I'm sorry that someone feels like the process was a sham. I can't control what people think.
I decided to put the card on here to give all Broncos fans the same opportunity. If I was chasing the money I would have stuck it on Ebay. I have done things this way on this site before today, and if I find myself in the same position in the future, will do it this way again. I am quite comfortable with the process in it's fairness.
At the end of the day the decision is mine alone and I do not have to justify that decision to anyone.

Thanks Mark for your words but you also had the opportunity to grab the Knights #001 redemption card 12 months ago and you yourself low balled me all the way offering me a few cards worth nothing and a small amount of cash? I feel because you did not get the Knights #001 redemption card you were holding a grudge on me and no matter what i offered you i was never going to get the only card i have wanted from day one. I dont see your post as fair nor do i feel you ever had the intention of selling this card but to anyone else except for the final winner. Very disappointed in the whole out come. Katrina.
Oohh and as Mick's PM to me just then stating that i was never going to win the Corey Parker redemption card proves that someone's mate was going to win this card no matter what? What a scam and once again very disappointed with Marks final decision because he had no intention of selling it to anyone but one collector in mind. Katrina
