that is from 92/93 Topps Archives a set dedicated to the rookies they missed between 1981 and 1992...not a rookie card but a reprint of what the 85/86 topps baseball cards looked like, so tahts what his rookie card would have looked like if topps had been producing basketball then
i sold mine for $50 LOL
ungraded first Topps MJ rookie card
I think you overpaid...
It's not a RC, it's just a base card.
i am sure thr grading would of cost more than $5.
Do Topps have a Jordan RC ?
My interpretation is that the first card produced of a player in the NBA would be there rookie (correct me if i am wrong).
Your interpretation is spot on Ace, but Jordan's RC is from 86/87 Fleer, his first card release in a main stream set, he also has cards in the Star Releases from 1984 (his true rookie year) but these werent a main stream release and arent considered his true RC
Topps didnt produce cards between 1981 and 1992, so Jordan doesnt have a Topps RC....
Even by that interpretation, Regular Topps 92/93 would be his "topps rc" not topps archives, just my thoughts...
