Can anyone give me a recommendation on which canterbury bankstown bulldog player past or present will be the best to do a player collection on? Not looking to buy any though.

go for someone you enjoyed watching play or if current that you still enjoy.

It depends on your budget also. For example if you went Steve Price you already have about $1200-$1500 in the 03/04 sets to pick up. Individual player collections are much rarer than team collections although a few more JT and Cam Smith PC's are springing up. I think going after the team as opposed to the individual will give you more enjoyment and a greater range of low end cards to chase so you can enjoy past and present greats of your team. I have a Raiders PC and love going through my old common team sets.

I'm with Brendan on this and would suggest a team PC as well. Common / base sets are not expensive and gives you plenty of cards to chase.
