15-16 NBA Draft and Pre- Season discussion

Dallas Mavericks sign Dalembert to a deal, have an eye on Javale McGee and are closing in on a 3 year deal with Tunisian big man Salah Mejri (formerly Real Madrid, Euroleague).

Mike Miller traded to Portland and then waived.

Reading that Tristan Thompson is looking at turning down the $80m offer from Cavs and leave next Summer if he doesnt receive a max offer.

Looking like a $6.8m qualifying offer for next season, and will be hitting the FA market!

Honestly, I don't see why 1.) he thinks he deserves the max. 2.) why he thinks they'll pay him a max coming off the bench behind Love, and 3.) why CLE would offer a max because of 1 & 2.

Nets also signed Pacers backup PG, Donald Sloan 1yr minimum, partially guaranteed.

This guy absolutely killed it when he was starting for Pacers, but then got relegated to WAY at the back of the bench.

No clue why he hadnt been signed already, even it he is the 4th PG for the Nets now.

Markieff Morris has demanded a trade out of Phoenix - citing the way he was told about his brothers trade to Detroit being the reason. lol.

If the reports are true then fair enough maybe? If the whole deal was they were paid a joint signing amount - and able to divide that up as they wanted, then it seems like a package deal. Trade one, other is unhappy. #2for1

The report I read this morning from ESPN said that Markeiff signed a $32mill deal and his brother $20mill. Markeiff claims that its not the fact that he is traded, but how he we told about it. I think he needs to be a big boy and come to terms that he can't always play beside his brother - at the end of the day it's a business and moving Marcus out was a business deal to help them get better and sign Tyson Chandler.

Hmmm, Mavs sign Javale McGee....

Not entirely sure what to think yet. lol. 2y deal, 2nd being a Team Option.

IF Rick Carlisle can get him to play, then we'll have a decent package at C position.
