He gets a rise out of winding people up. Don't take him too seriously. Everyone is a champion from the comfort of being behind a keyboard. He does a pleasant combination of facts and utter tripe. He says common sense generic things in a patronizing manner to wind the susceptible up. Just take it as banter and don't take it to heart mate.
Anyway, was good to see Shrek get a hat trick the other night, hopefully he might regain a bit of form and keep the good Sgt above mentioned entertained :thumbsup:

i think technically/tactically hes one of the best. his player management is also high quality. and for the amount he's spent he's done very well over the last couple of decades.
but he doesnt win enough anymore. probably because he doesnt spend enough. hes almost more of a back office type than a manager...

i dislike bayern because theyre one of dortmunds biggest rivals. dortmund is my team in the bundesliga ever since rot-weiss essen dwindled away into regionalliga.
not sure what the theme is? i dont like dominant teams? but i like barca. and psg...
i have opinions about football. shouldnt matter which team i follow.

Mate Manchester United aren't even my number 1 team. My avatar gives it away.
I also love the Leeds United FC. You'll never hear him say anything bad about Arsenal because he doesn't want to get Rishgoon going. By the way , it doesn't wind me up. I don't get anything out of the same old rubbish he writes.

Two FA cups and 2 or 3 Community shield over the last decade. Fora big club , that's crap.

Didn't say it mattered what team you followed. You did by suggesting you hated another.

that Neymar clip was fake anyway. Barcelona are my favourite Spanish team, have been for years. I've got shirts going way back. If any Barca player talked liked about any club , I reckon they would be suspended. I've read the comments on that particular website. Almost everyone dis liked it. the subtitles were made up.

the dislike i have for a team doesnt effect my view of the way they play. im the first to admit that the united i watched growing up played some of the nicest football ive seen...
ive also had bad things to say about arsenal before. walcott, wengers last minute transfers, walcott, ozil being lazy, walcott. off the top of my head. difference is rishgoon doesnt get all bent out of shape because someone is criticizing his team. if he disagress, no big deal.
i dont expect everyone to see the game the same way. thats part of why its fun to discuss...

i honestly dont mean to come across as patronising. will keep an eye on that.

lol i cant believe what i am reading here. you may as well unfollow everyone in the thread if you cant take any bant about football. thats half the fun.

Just to get things back on track (hopefully) - one of the quaint parts about football that I love is how it can take one team over fifty years to beat another team at a particular venue. West Ham's win at Anfield last night was their first there since 1963!! Crystal Palace's win at Stamford Bridge was their first at that venue since 1982.

It makes for good football I reckon!

A good one for the punters too!!
Looks like de Gea will be on his way next week. That's a big loss for us, he got us in the top 4 last season. Will be a shame to see him leave but, it's his dream move so good luck to him.
Johnny Evans sold to West Brom, and Tyler Blackett on loan to Celtic. Hopefully he gets some good experience out there and comes back with a bit of determination to squeeze into the first team. Will be a good test tonight away to Swansea, no easy beats at home. Hopefully Shrek has his scoring boots on again tonight!!
