HAHAHAHA!!! ;)

Rather than argue lets just sit back and enjoy watching one of the greatest individual performances in NBA finals history. Regardless of what side of the fence we sit on we can all appreciate what is unfolding in front of us.

We could both go back and forth all year till the cows come home picking things that support our respective arguments, but I won't, as this thread is for THIS year's playoffs. I just find it funny how people put Jordan on a pedestal as some mythical being who will never be overtaken, and seem to have a need to denigrate andyone who has the audacity to be mentioned in the same sentence as the all-powerful Jordan... ;)

im open to someone becoming the GOAT over him...just dont think its lebron right now. and the comparison should only be made once both careers are done.
but i would hardly call what we were doing 'arguing'. more like playful banter. i was more taking the p!ss out of the whole 'MJ vs LBJ' debate...

yes sorry 'argue' was not the word i was intending to use... perhaps the phrase 'playful tennis match' better describes it? lol

Yep, I find it hilarious that people want to put LeBron on top without having the Credentials to even be above others still playing like Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant etc.

I don't think anyone is against seeing Jordan toppled as far as greatness goes.

There's no way currys right, look at how he's playing, yes dellys playing good defence but the amount off open shots he's missing is thru the roof. Also when is anyone for golden state going to play defence, lebrons playing great but 10 years ago someone would have put him on his ass a couple of times a game just as a friendly reminder that it's the finals, the crap defence is making it look like an allstar game, also maybe the refs need to inforce the rules Lebron in the first quater at around the 6 minute mark took 8 seconds to cross half court, pretty sure that should have been a turnover, Props to Lebron tho, he's shown up to play these finals, curry needs to show why he was won the MVP, because so far, it looks like the real mvp is on the other team

I would quite comfortably put LBJ infront of Kobe all time. Shaq won Kobe 3 titles.

I think there's a disclaimer that needs to be made when comparing a player that has quite a few more years to go in his career, with one that is on the tailend of a very long career. LeBron *if he continues at his current pace and remains healthy* will likely go down as the top 3 players of all time. You really can't say with absolute conviction that a player ranked 20th on the all time scoring list with 2 rings is a better player than the 3rd all time scorer with 5 rings (in an oversymplistic argument). But when LeBron hangs it up, he will likely have had a better career than Kobe (maybe).

I caught that 8 second and watched it several times. I think he just bounces it over as the clock ticks to 16

Everytime Delly made a shot, it was like, "Can you believe this mofo is killing us? Really, really? This no game, no hops mofo?" You know the type, the guy who looks like he can't ball, just always got a perpetual motor and makes this stupid, ugly, fluke shots, over and over again in your pickup games? That's delly and I bet that pisses the dubs off to no end.

And a lot of people say the same about a prime D. Wade and Bosh getting LeBron 2. You might wanna check those stats of theirs the season before LeBron went to the Heat. Wade was like 29/7/6. Cracks me up when people argue stuff like that and don't count anything against LeBron.

Anyhoo, loving what this Cavs team is doing. Hope they win and I can buy a nice new card with my winnings:)

Scary thing is next year when Kyrie and Love (likely?) come back.

I'm gonna just stick to ozcards comments for now, BO has gotten 1000 times more ridiculous then normal. One guy put Jordan at 25th best all time  I can handle arguments for LeBron being no.1 but sheesh. Someone get that guy a straight jacket.

Loving this series, I like to see great defense and that's what CLE are doing.

^^ Haha, he did make some crazy shots out there..
That And 1 play by Delly really did seem to deflate the Warriors, especially coming right after the Curry trey which briefly pumped them up. haha! REAL tight series so far, I wouldn't mind if they were all this tight, PROVIDING the Cavs came out the other side as winners... ;)

I really dont think curry is shaken up from the fall at all.
I think the Cavs might want it more than Gsw atm.

Game 4 will be the biggest game in this series.
Who ever wins this coming game i think will take the chip.

Gsw got rattled with losing at home and it put them off and it continued into game 3.

So if Gsw win game 4 they will get feet back i think.

From the way Gsw played all season and cavs without kyrie and Love this series should have been over tommorow.

Blowout has about 1500 serial trollers on it day in day out... its super frustrating. Only 10% of the posts are contributing to the game flow or series, the others are just flamers.

Whirlpool forums used to be good, but with all the time I spend on basketball forums, I don't have time for it anymore.

Yes, while I don't think Delly is the "Curry Stopper" any more than Bryon Russell was the Jordan Stopper, or "Player X" is the Lebron Stopper. But he's been staying on Curry like white on rice, even through the sometimes questionable screens he's getting to try to hold Delly off, and I think it's making him uncomfortable. I even feel some of the OPEN shots he's missing can be attributed at least partly to him wanting to get A shot off before Delly or a help defender arrives, regardless of if its a "good" shot. And I also think (and it seemed to be brought out by Lebron on the court), that at least a few of the Curry turnovers in the 4th were brought about by him being flustered about not getting his preferred shots. This would be hard enough for a reigning MVP to take, but is amplified by the apparent feeling that Delly shouldn't have any "business" going against, Curry, Rose, and Teague. He's white, from a country not traditionally noted for it's basketball, doesn't seem athletic in the traditional basketball sense, and was passed on 60 times in the NBA draft. Even some Cavs fans are saying that Kyrie when healthy could do easy enough what Delly's doing defensively, which I don't believe for a second. Physically capable? At 100% health, undoubtably... But Kyries "weapons" are at the offensive end, and he quite justifiably concentrates on his strengths that the Cavs need from him, when playing. And I do think if it was Kyrie out there doing the same work defensively, he would be getting more recognition, and it would be more easily accepted by opposition players and talking heads alike...

And yes, if Cavs win game 4, that gives them 3 chances to close out, 1 being at home. But if Warriors square it in game 4, we're back where we started almost, with a "best of 3" series, and Golden State most likely having the high ground...
