Panini Redemption Replacement

Hello all,

So after 6 months of emails, trying to get some cards replaced....I cracked it.
Some were from 2012....why is it our job to chase their stuff ups?
I told them I have had enough of their supposed "customer service" and I want all my redemptions replaced as I wont be buying their products anymore.

Panini have screwed the hobby (imo) and they will have 1 less customer to worry about because I'm out.

Now that's the end of my rant

I did ask for the Aussie guys, so they did get one thing right.
Here's the replacements I got, and would like others feedback as well.

Must be a trend lol I requested about 20 replacements the other day - they said allow 8-10 weeks for them to sort it out - this is after the 8-36 months they've already had mind you so why stress....

Exactly right, with the Bogut but the Pippen to Paul I wasn't to happy with.

I contacted David Sharp directly a few weeks ago about my constant complaint about a harden auto that is about 2yrs and 3mths over....he said he would get on it...never heard anything back...surprise surprise....

I contacted David directly in November 2014. He said he would fix it before Christmas (over 10 redemptions, some nearly 3 years old).
I emailed again on 7th January asking if the request had been missed or was I just being ignored. I got an email back on the 16th January apologising, that it was missed and that he would see to it, that it got expedited within the next 2 weeks.

So on the 10th March with some redemptions now over 3 years old, I email again and state it has been another 2 months, and what do you know.............still nothing. No reply

So on the 16th April, I send another email explain that I would go ahead and make a complaint through BBB Business reviews.
17th April, I get a reply from David saying they were sent out March 27th, and "hadn't I received them yet". This is total BS, as nothing changed on my account, to say anything was looked at or changed.
I replied with what I thought, and last Friday it has changed to being sent with the above replacements.

No business, could accept that this is reasonable customer service. If you don't chase it up, you get no where.
I'm sure we all have better things to do that chase up what is rightfully ours.

I can overwhelmingly agree with the sentiments about waiting long periods for what is in essence already ours and paid for in full. I too have over 20 redemptions that are well over 2 years old.

I recently had zero success when contacting panini cs through the open ticket option on the website for a solid gold redemption.

I was basically told to wait my turn and my card will be sent out when they reach Stephen Curry in the queue. Mind you this card was already made and does not require an autograph.
I was very angry.

I emailed David Sharp and in the politest but firmest way possible explained the importance and value of the card and asked for it to be shipped immediately.

He replied within 6 hours that he would ship it that day. By the time I read the email and checked my account it had been shipped.

So there are some occasional success stories.

Well they arrived today. Some nice looking cards.
Will be keeping some, but not sure which ones as yet.

don't they allegedly put all the hits they get from QC testing etc back into circulation?

Yeah I think they make extras or don't put certain ones into the circulation. Especially when they have /199 /299 /99 /49 /25 /10 autos around they are bound to have some spare.

Panini Redemptions have also been frustrating and is the worst side of the business/hobby. I cracked it several months back after waiting for over a year to 2 on some stuff. Patience only goes so far. Good to hear you got some good replacements though!!!
