[4.22] Oklahoma City Thunder Selects Nate Thurmond PF
1st player officially recorded with a Quad Double and one of 4 people to do it. HOFer and 1 of 3 people to average 21 & 22 a season (Bill & Wilt the only other two)
[5.1] Oklahoma City Thunder Selects Dave Debusschere SF
2 time NBA Champion and one of the 50 greatest NBA Players of all time.
i seen he played his career as a C and PF (when he played next to Wilt) it shows him as a PF/C in Wiki & also when i look at websites. He's listed as both PF/C.Thurmond was a C I'm pretty sure
nice pick man! god i wish he played longer.(5, 2) Washington Wizards select Yao Ming C
pm sent to next pick
i agree with you but the rule is in place, i see my choice as correct simply because he is posted as a PF/C on wiki and other sites i have searched. If @nichj99 says i cannot then fine with me. Your right that Duncan could have been an amazing C.Geez there are a lot of picky people when it comes to position named. I know the rules state where they played the majority of their career but a little movement should be allowed IMO.
For example, Tim Duncan. Could have played starting C for most teams when drafted, but when put next to Dave Robinson, of course he will play PF.
Agreed although even that becomes hard with them. Take James Worthy for example. At the top it lists him as both a SF and PF. But if you look at his yearly stats, it shows him as a SF for the majority of his career except one season. In my opinion http://www.basketball-reference.com/ is perhaps more accurate when it comes to distinguishing player positions.
It's not being picky. Both Worthy and Pierce were SFAgreed although even that becomes hard with them. Take James Worthy for example. At the top it lists him as both a SF and PF. But if you look at his yearly stats, it shows him as a SF for the majority of his career except one season.
This will be an argument am sure we will go on about for ages.
