Wilson drops to 8 when naturalised DJ still has a rating of 7 going by nbl and the fact he technically has an active agreement with 36ers purely in regards to loyalty points (lose loyalty only if signed with another NBL club)

which means we still get 2pt reduction on him so let's say nbl re rate him 10 we get him for 8 but bench mark is set with other cases of returning Aussies as 9 also don't forget you can have a marquee player outside the cap (motum, kickert,Jackson,Childress) completely outside the cap

Gibbos contract + sponsorship $$$$ are well let's say are prob what some teams pay there entire squad (cairns / gong)

Scensch was about to sign for 80k for 4 years but because his points wouldn't reduce because it was a contract extension both parties decided to let it expire then his points drop so don't see scensch going anywhere family is here and there are reasons from that he wants to be close by...

DJ was a 10 for this season, but would have counted as an 8 on a multi year contract, so even with loyalty discount, I don't see him being under an 8.

Yes you can have a marquee player outside the cap, but Adelaide were struggling to pay the full salary cap in recent seasons, so I would be very surprised if the numbers you are throwing around are correct mate.

Numbers are correct and confirmed by a source , sixers will be paying a marquee next season , imports who naturalise gain 1pt deduction automatically regardless of form redhage balls gruber all happened to them

That's incorrect mate. Redhage is a 10 and always has been. His only deduction is the loyalty discount.

All players are rated on form. The only thing that is automatic is new imports are a 10.

also frye as a new import came in as a 6 beacause he was a seabl import and this rule came into place in 2012, if redhage was picked now from seabl like he originally was he would be 6 or 7 now that would have been a steal

ok just checked contracts on the nblpa hes only a 10 because hes on the last year of a multi year deal and will be re rated at seasons end unless contract is extended prior to the currents contracts conclusion

Frye was never a 6 either. Redhage has always been a 10 and may well be lower next season, but my point is he never lost a point just because he naturalised.

Search NBL player points and you can down load the current pdf of player points and it clearly list dq as 7 and frye as 6 and it also has the seabl eligibility and points

Money is there , dec on shirt sponsor was due to last minute pull out , the company providing the money for marquee will be the shirt sponsor next season

I am not a Redhage fan and he is turning into more of a soccer player as his career winds down. I'd be stoked to see Redhage retire/leave and Cody Ellis signed.
