2014/2015 Tap 'N' Play Cricket Sell Sheet (Full Checklist on Page 2)

Thanks Matt, saves stopping to check newagents in next few days.

Does Neil or the distributor have a list of which newagents will stock it? From memory ESP put something like that out when ELite NRL came out.

Seems this will be very limited as to which newagents will actually have stock and may be a way to help him sell out the product if the collectors know where to look for it.

There was a list for the FFA A-League Cards and from memory it was about 600 newsagents nationally.

Cheers
Matt

Dan,
I went into the Gordon & Gotch website & you can find a retailer near you by putting in the Suburb or Postcode & hopefully they may get the cards, they even state they deliver either Mon/Thurs..

Just wondering what naming convention is going to be used by people if/when they start listing these cards on eBay, etc.

Naz has this set listed on his website as Tap n Play 2014.

Certainly with TnP's FFA/a-league release those cards were listed under a range of titles on eBay and no reference to TnP in the product listing - sometimes FFA cards, a-league cards, or just the team name itself. But of course not many of the cards from that set found their way onto eBay. But it did make for a challenge to find any that were.

These packs have the set named as 'Official CA & BBL Trading Card Collection 2014-15'

Should we just use 'Tap n Play Cricket/Big Bash 2014/15' or are there other thoughts as to what is used for ease of searching?

How has everyone gone finding these today?

I drove to one on the list specifically to get the cards. He didn't get any today and said he had not heard anything about them.

Then drove to another on the list and they had one box. That was all they had received.

I went to two that was on the list. One only received one box and and the other only received two boxes.

Looks like there is not a lot of them around.

Not on sale at the Sydney Test either. Makes no sense as they are a Cricket Australia authorized release.

I am dumbfounded why they seem to be so limited. Look at the distribution list for this compared to the World Cup cards!

Will be hard enough to get a silver set, will be a monumental task to get a gold one.

The players seem to like them. I have managed to get 21 signed so far, most had a good look at the cards before signing them.

So If I have read the ratios correctly there are 320 cases containing 14 boxes per case = 4480 boxes

4480 boxes x 26 (packets per box) = 116480 packets

116480 packets / 4 (gold cards 1:4 packets) = 29120 gold cards

29120 gold cards / 181 (cards per set) = 160 possible sets of the gold parallels

This will be a really tough set to complete!

Good morning Mr Hunt, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to complete one of only 160 Gold cards set in the TnP cricket card release....this message will self destruct in 5 seconds.

Agree, got some of the players to sign at the Scorchers v Heat game. All surprised to see cards, and for some players it was the first time they had even been on a card, so even more surprised and happy.

Although Nathan Reardon had a laugh when he read the "Bats left hand, Bowls left arm" statement on the front of his card. Something only a right arm bowler would find funny obviously :)
