COMC Mailbox Thread

@Moe@COMC fist time to use the mailbox and checked the tracking of my card and it's already delivered. when do i expect to receive an email from COMC to confirm that the card is already there. thanks

If we received it on Saturday, you probably wont hear from us until late Monday or Tuesday (our time)...there's no one here on Sunday to process, so all the weekend mail is done on Monday.

Has anybody used the COMC grading service prior to sending a card away to Bekcett?

How accurate were they? And what sort of time frame are we looking at?

Hey @Moe@COMC

Can you explain to me why every card that I get sent to comc in a screwdown gets processed in the screwdown without fail every time for a $1 but all my one touches get taken out which are in good condition and then I have to buy the toploaders From comc as well to top it off
It's good from your buisness side isn't it moe

Is it the mailing staff are too lazy to unscrew them and for the fact that use can't resell them later like the one touches and don't give me that if there in good condition will leave them in there bs as the screwdowns have looked shocking some of them

Should start calling comc the one touch thieves lol

Edit"
Just received today and sure enough left in the screwdown plus the pics upside down to top it off lol

It makes it hard to sell on comc when you have to request a picture correction on top of correcting the card description as well

With all these complaints about it u really should think that they need to change there ways.
I had a 90 card lot come in with about 30-40 in one touches, and I even requested that they get processed in one touches no matter the condition multiple times!
And what happens they process 89/91 of them in the 25c option BUT left 2 of them in screw downs????

Wtf is the go there they prob realised they can't sell or use them for themselfs so leave em.
But about the whole thing about if there not in good condition is just bull as I've had some brand new, and on top of it all WHY process the 2 in screw downs??

Makes no sense and its ridiculous as I'm paying extra for these one touches yet u guys take them, either add them it refund me the $1-2 I pay for each one!

In regards to the one-touches/screwdowns, etc etc...as has been said before, and will be said again, it's at the discretion of the Mailbox team to leave the cards within the case or to remove them, on a case-by-case (double-meaning intended) basis. If the team feels they won't get a clean scan from the case, then the card gets pulled and placed within a toploader. We don't keep the cases, we don't resell them, we toss them - if they weren't good for your scan, they won't be good for any scan, so there's no point in us keeping them.

Just because an eBay seller has a photo of a card in a "new" one-touch on their auction page doesn't necessarily mean that card will arrive in the same one-touch when we receive it. Some sellers will mark the holder for sorting/shipping purposes, some will load several cards within one holder, some will even swap out holders after the auction has ended.

I hate to be so blunt about this, because I really like this forum and the folks who participate here, but our policy on this isn't going to change anytime soon...

If you send in a correction request on that card, they'll rescan it for you and get it right. Sorry about that.

Hi @Moe@COMC

This has happened to every single one of my COMC shipments. I haven't said anything because the cards have not been damaged...yet.

However, I feel it's going to be sooner or later before that happens!

I have been charged top loader fees for all of these so the least I expect is top loaders in the right size! It's not very assuring and quite frankly very worrying to find the cards sliding loose like this because the top loaders are too big for the cards. Are there no 130pt top loaders available at COMC? Is there a logic behind this??

I'll pass this along to the shipping team...sorry for any inconvenience.

I bought a lot of Prizm cards for basically pennies and in there is a few doubles. Now it cost me a $1 to process them and the most I could probably sell them for on comc is about $2 I'd say. Is it worth while me doing this with the fees (not sure how they are calculated as the site really isn't that helpful I found in that matter)?

Secondly, I couldn't see how I could move cards from my inventory manager to be sold. Might be easier to donate them and get my $1 back...

The Mailbox is designed for single cards, and not for box breaks or anything in bulk. If you send in base cards, they're going to get processed for $1/each...that's what the mailbox fee is.

And, once cards are deposited into your portfolio, all you have to do is set your asking price and they're made available to the buying public.

But we can send bulk for the $25 option ?

You can send cards to us to be processed via the Basic Service - just don't send anything via the Mailbox. If anything comes in via the Mailbox, then it gets processed as Mailbox. Use the Submission Wizard on COMC to generate the proper paperwork to get your cards processed.
