COMC Mailbox Thread

Just a quick question, i have over 100 cards that i want to request shipping for. Does priority mail include tracking?

If i go with registered post, does that have tracking as well?

Shipping options are as follows... and I'm sure @Moe@COMC will correct me if im wrong
Standard - Starts at $3 and takes up to 5 days to pack and send
Rapid - Starts at $4.99, the postal service is the same as above however it gets packaged generally in 48 hrs from experience
Priority - Starts at $17.99 and includes tracking.
Registered - Is tracked the same a priority, however is packaged faster and is a faster delivery service with USPS.
Express - The premium shipping service. Will arrive to us within a few days to a week from it being sent.

A question can I get a mint packet sent to my comc account which I don't want to open (old 60's scanlens) it's about 130pt

Hi, The Mailbox is designed for single cards only. We've had people send in non-cards items, and we tend to charge a lot of extra shipping for those items, because they aren't what we normally handle. So, I wouldn't recommend doing so.

Hi @Moe@COMC

If I got a "lot" of 100+ cards sent to my mailbox to sell on comc could I get it processed @25c each under the 2-8 week processing?

Cheers

Sorry, if anything comes to us via the Mailbox, it'll receive the Mailbox processing service. You'd be better off having someone send the cards in under your name, but not using the "Mailbox" on the shipping label.

@Moe@COMC

My first shipment was back in August last year, so I'm assuming things have changed somewhat since then...

First part question;
When I look at my Inventory Manager, I see cards with "+$0.45 =" or "+$0.25 =" between the boxes (assuming this is so I can relist them for sale?). What is this please?

Second part question;
When I request shipment (25 cards in total), I don't qualify for flat-rate $3.00 - it tells me that "One or more of these items was purchased from checkoutmycards.com or Advanced Reseller Mode and still has a per-item shipping fee due." What is this please?

Third part question;
Under "Supplies" during the Request Shipment section, some cards already have a fees of $0.25 and $0.45 before adding Toploaders to the shipment. What is this please?

Last part question;
Will these be posted in a box, or large bubble mailer - 25 cards in toploaders.

Cheers in advance!!

Let me see what I can do here :)

1) That shows you what the buyer is paying for S&H when they buy your card; some sellers like to have that information available when pricing their cards.

2) In your Profile/Options page, you can set your buying mode-to either Simplified Shipping, or Advanced Resellers - the Simplified mode adds the cost of S&H to the cards you buy, when you make the purchase. The Advanced mode won't add the S&H at the time of purchase, assuming you're going to resell (or flip) the card on the website. Also, When we were checkoutmycards.com, we didn't include the shipping in the prices of the cards, so sometimes you got a little "sticker shock" when you went to check out. When we became COMC.com, we also modified the way you can buy, bringing in these two options.

3) If you've bought the cards while in advanced mode, then you'll see the $0.25 S&H fee in the Request Shipment section; those that say $0.45 already are in toploaders.

4) If you have 25 cards in toploaders, I'm thinking that order is coming in a box.

I hope this helps.

Hey Moe

If I send a item back to a seller because of damage and he is within the USA, would Rapid Post include a tracking number?
Also will I be given that tracking number once shipment is made to make sure he gets it

Please lmk asap

If it's within the US, then there will be tracking available - you would get an email when the item ships with the tracking info included.

@Moe@COMC I'm wanting to get a correction done but as this is my first time i do not know if its going through to your end.

1. go into inventory manager
2. find the card i want to submit for a correction
3. click on actions
4. click "request a correction"
5. click player data missing
6. click "OK"
7. nothing shows that it was "submitted" and after about a week of waiting to see if the card has changed from
"2014 Mailbox Submission [???] #0" (i want to get it corrected so i can sell it on your site.

Am i doing this incorrectly ? or have i spammed to many request through to you for my lack of understanding this.

Regards,
Kael

We've been slammed with processing orders from Black Friday/Cyber Monday, so a few things (like correction requests) have taken a lower priority. But, as we get shipping back to something resembling normal, we'll get caught on on those submissions for you...sorry about that.
