I thought I would give Beckett a try and see how the whole grading process works, so I packaged some cards up and sent them off to Beckett at the end of September, now they have arrived back!

The results are as follows:

I had just opened 4 boxes of 94-95 Collectors Choice so I had a few Jordans that looked good and used them to fill out the order to get the special rates

Jordan 3.jpeg Jordan 6.jpeg Jordan 4.jpeg Jordan 1.jpeg Jordan 7.jpeg Jordan 5.jpeg

unfortunately only 1 of the Jordans was good enough to earn a Gold Label :)

Jordan 2.jpeg

But being about 20 years old it was not to bad

I had a single Kyrie that I was curious as to how it would turn out and it was..........

Kyrie 1.jpeg

better than a kick in the yam bags

Lebron had a little bit more luck

Lebron 2.jpeg

I still love the numbering of this card though.... 023/299 shame its a heat jersey

Then the pride of the package........

Lebron James Orange Die cut 44/99

Lebron 1.jpeg

and

Michael Jordan Home Court Signatures

Jordan 8.jpeg

Auto grading.... 10 (I love the fat signature)

Jordan 9.jpeg

Cheers for looking guys

Hi, mate just wondering how did they're declare the value when they shipping it back to you?
Let say if I send a $1000 USD worth of cards are they declare that it's $1000 USD ? (which is going to be more then $1000 AUD) for what I know anything more then $1000 AUD we have to pay TAX right?
I'm planning to send some of my cards to BGS as well just curious about this.
Thank mate

Sick jordan auto. I always loved the UD baseball card. As a kid it was classic weird but a classic seeing him in the baseball uni.

Hey mate, I declared the value when I filled out the info, they didn't do that for me. I don't think you would pay tax or anything as you are not buying goods of that value, your only paying a couple of hundred? I think it's more for insurance purposes. Unless anyone else has experienced differently

Awesome thank mate!

Some great cards and grades - you'll hit the elusive 10 one day! I like the phrase 'yam bags' - I may have to steal that one off you!

Decent grades overall and congrats on the 9.5's!

May I ask how long was the entire process?

Cheers jkidd, they were posted off 29 Sep and got back the 14th Nov. It was a 20 day package with Beckett and they turned it over quicker than that, my postage over there was not express but they sent it back express which was good
