When Panini America’s 2014 Prizm Football releases in hobby shops across North America on Wednesday, the popular brand will usher in a new parallel universe; a colorful, Prizm-infused landscape earmarked by uncanny collectibility and some of the sweetest, most vibrant chase cards of the season so far. Since the berth of the Prizm brand in 2012, collectors have asked for more Prizm parallels to chase. In 2014, Panini America officials have answered the call in a big way.

Boasting 12 different Prizm variations between them, 2014 Prizm Football and 2014 Prizm Football Hobby Jumbos provide a rainbow array of possibilities, including Camouflage, Panini, BCA Pink, NFL Shield, Team Logo, Red Power, Tie-Dye, Blue Wave, Neon Green/Yellow, Orange, Gold and Black. The Camouflage and BCA Pink Prizms are exclusive to Hobby Jumbo while the Orange and Neon Green/Yellow are exclusive to hobby. The others mentioned above are shared by both hobby configurations.


Last week, the Panini America Football Product Development Team spent some quality time quality controlling 2014 Prizm Football and in the gallery below, we showcase many of the cards that surfaced during the process. These images will give you a much more comprehensive preview of 2014 Prizm Football and are in addition to the galleries we brought you last week featuring the product’s vast and vibrant Prizm parallels and its stacked autograph lineup.

Although, too much going on in the base sets.

There's also a "Dirty Laundry" insert on the Checklist. Wondering if these are jersey cards (sounds like it) but I didn't think Prizm sets had any?
I never rated Prizm, but these look pretty sweet. Die-cut inserts look good and parallels are a way of life these days.
I'm almost in.

If they go the same way, I can see these being a hit with NBA collectors. 11 variations of the same PC player would be a major attraction. And then there's the auto variations.

Actually there's 16 variations, up to and including the Black 1 of 1's.
Also, only a limited number of different players are represented in some of the different Autograph variations.
