Hi everyone,

OzCardTrader.com.au has been given a great opportunity to do another Q&A session with ESP, this time with Alex Fraser who has recently joined the team.

We are opening up this thread for members to submit questions about ESP, their products and their customer service.

These questions will be collated and sent to Alex at the end of next week (Friday 19th).

This is a great opportunity and ESP have made it clear to us that they want to connect with their customers, so feel free to ask away!

Will there be parallels with different photos in future, like Select used to do, and possibly a retro-style design parallel set?

Is there any chance of "club legend" signature cards with retired players from the 80s and 90s?

Can the Traders set be expanded to 15-18 players?

Can Elite actually be the nine Elite 'marquee' players at each team and not the lesser likes who should be covered in Traders?

Can they do 'throwback' parallels designed like/inspired by 70's and 80's style Scanlens card?

Can they bring back bubblegum?

Have they thought about joining forces with the makers of Mirco Footy Players and doing a Powerplay / Micro Man insert?

Ooh, yes - I second the 18 player Traders set request!

As for Elite, I think they are a bit restricted to players who have good photos taken in the first couple of rounds.

Personally, I think Elite should be the Top 9 players at a club. I know IP chasers won't agree, but that's where Traders and Powerplay comes in to it.

For mine, a big Traders set would be cool, maybe be less chase.

Are there any reasons ESP can't do 18 cards per team incl emblem card.

If they cant do 18 players then at least do a full side of 13 players with there positions on front of card.
I agree with the different parallel photos. Sick of collecting 3 sets of the same card with just a different background.

Firstly the positive:

Thanks Alex for the opportunity to offer feedback I hope you have thick skin and a sense of humour. On a personal note, thumbs up as I believe the hobby is now stronger for ESP having taken on the license.

The feedback:

I also would like a deeper common set maybe 17 players and a club crest. I like a club crest so we can get players who miss out on a card to sign something relevant from the current year, it also makes for a better display of our cards.

An issue of Club folders would also be well received.

Will ESP issue replacement cards for the case cards from the 2013 Traders series where we now know the wrong club emblem was on the back of each the Legends card (Provan and Johns)........or at least admit the mistake?

yes i second the which number 001s have been redeemed? And i also agree on a club legend signature card from past and present. 80s and 90s retro packs would be great with the chance of finding a numbered signature card from the Winfield Cup era.
