What is one thing you are looking foward to in the 2014/15 nba season

I hope so. He needs to with that HUGE contract he signed as he has cost the Lakers getting any decent free agents

I don't think Kobe cost them anything, they had the coin to sign another Max guy but couldn't get it done. If they had enough assets they could have gotten Love.

I am really hoping we haven't seen all of Kobe Bryant. To me, his individual moves and drive should see him still get 25ppg I hope. I'd hate to see another season ending injury.

What I'm looking forward to seeing:

- The Spurs defending their title, can they repeat for the first time?
- Anthony Davis DOMINATING!!!
- Seeing the Bulls throttle the Cavs in a Playoff series, just like old times.
- The re-incarnation of D. Wade and seeing Bosh get his balls back, the Heat will be top 4 in the East IMO.
- Watching how special Quickens Loans arena is when Lebron is flat out balling.
- K. Love either proving he's as good as most of us think, or he becomes C. Bosh of 2013
- Definitely how Dante Exum goes

Some random thoughts, prediction wise anyway.

-Sacramento to make the playoffs for the first time in like 6 years.
-Nets will suck, less than 30 wins
-Miami bandwagon will empty quicker than bar without alcohol on St Patricks Day
-Rondo to Knicks
-Eric Gordon to Kings
-Steve Nash retires without playing another game
-Steve Kerr fails as coach and shuts up for good!

West
Clippers 62-20
Thunder 61-21
Spurs 57-25
Mavs 55-27
Blazers 55-27
Grizzlies 53-29
Rockets 51-31
Kings 48-34

East
Cavs 58-24
Bulls 57-25
Raptors 55-27
Washington 52-30
Bobcats 48-34
Atlanta 48-34
Knicks 45-37
Pistons 44-38

WOW, Warriors and the Heat to miss the Playoffs? Do you like to bet? :)

The Heat I think will. Wade is washed up, Bosh can't lead a team, Deng's best years are behind him after playing copius amounts of minutes for 10 years and they have no bench.

As for the Warriors, I just hate Steve Kerr. His commentary always just screamed of smugness and I don't think he has what it takes to coach and want him to fail despite having no ill feelings towards GS.

I disagree, Wade avgd 19ppg 5rebs and 4.5 assists through the season, his scoring should go up, so should Bosh's, Deng will help and I think Chalmers will be very good despite a horrible showing in the Finals.

Heat vs Cavs would make a juicy 2nd round match up.

Wade might average those numbers, but play 40 games at best. No one else on the team can play SG either. Bosh is out of position and there isn't a centre who can playing meaningful minutes. Chalmers couldn't hit wide open jumpers, now with someone paying attention to him what chance does he have now? Napier will play more minutes by the end of the year I'd say!

I do hate the Heat to and their fanboys, enjoy mediocrity this year and rebuilding in the future!

I'm not a Heat fan, but you're dreaming there. Playoff team easy.

Wade played 60 games last year, I'd expect at least that again. Bosh will be back to the 4 I'd say. Chalmers was huge throughout the season, just had a shocker in the Finals, same thing happened to Ginobili last year, I can't see how a young guy like Chalmers with championship experience will get worse.

Will have to agree to disagree here.

Can't see them better than any of the list except for maybe the Pistons, but they are overdue and can't under-perform. I don't even have the Pacers in there... Most teams have improved this offseason except for the tank commanders and the Heat, they will struggle ;)

Was looking forward to watching the Cavs...but the Love trade kills them for me.

Looking forward to:
- Watching the kids in Minny now.
- The Spurs are always interesting.
- Loaded Bulls
- Nikola Mirotic!
- Nik Stauskas
- Ma Boi Kyle
- Hoping Schroder can get more court time
- Orlando should be exciting. I have cash on Payton for ROY :D

Up for a friendly bet then?

I say the Heat will be a playoff team:)

Seeing how LeBron goes this season. I'm thinking we might see more of a scoring LBJ in this new team.
Going off instagram pics he's slimmed down this off season, it'll probably help his shooting not being so bulky.
Have been thinking of putting $50 on James for MVP, think he will want to prove he's the best in the league still

Looking forward to:

* The return of Rose and Kobe
* Seeing how all the Aussies go. Exum and Bairstow in their rookie year, Patty coming in late after surgery.
* Seeing how Miami and Cleveland play without/with LeBron
