Just a quick question,
I am a bulldogs team collector as you would all be aware, I however only collect cards where the players are wearing a bulldogs Jersey.

No australian rep cards, no state of origin cards, etc. Cause in 10 years im not even going to remember what years they were with my club,
If you understand what i mean,

How many others collect this way???

I am a team collector also but go after the players in rep sets. It is hard to draw the line at where to stop as a team collector because there are so many one if for obscure releases from over the years.

I'm like you. My team cards only. I don't collect the rep cards for my Raiders PC.

I collect Knights and go for reps and all the hard to get ones as well. I keep them all in Knights folders and have them arranged according to the year they were released. I find it easy to keep track of that way

Generally don't go for rep cards, but the World Cup Heroes Parallels might be a nice set to put together. More so they're limited to 80.

i collect bulldogs and the rep card bulldogs too. I've found some of these to be difficult to know where to draw the line as some sets like the 94 origin cards say david gillespie was a manly player in 94 but he played origin when at the dogs. I try to adopt the philosophy if the back says bulldogs on the back i include it for those.

I asked myself if I should or shouldn't add the rep cards. If I don't get them, I don't care but if you pull them, I will add the odd 1 or 2. It depends on the player.

If they are playing for the Dragons when a rep card is release I'll add it to the PC, generally they aren't high end although the WCHP had me thinking twice, glad I'm not a Cowboys collector or I'd be chasing 4 of them.

Yep, I grab any rep cards where the player was selected from the Knights to play for the rep side.

How could I not have all the Joey NSW cards in my collection?

Unfortunately it means I'm chasing even more Darius Boyd cards from this year's Elite. :(

I collect three of every card too (minus redemptions).... It's an expensive set for me this time round!

I prefer just cowboys. But I have the others. I don't actively chase them..... But I get them if the opportunity arrises... Or if @batboy sends them to me.. ☺️

I seem to be in minority as i collect every single card released of any player that's ever pulled on a Knights Jersey Eg. Ben Kennedy- Raiders, Knights, Eagles, NSW, Australia, Darius Boyd -Broncos, Dragons, Knights, ???, QLD, Australia, as well as a seperate collection just for base and parallel team sets

Now thats commitment. I would love to do that ( ideally to collect every card)but these days I just cant that level of funds to non bulldogs cards. Too many high end thurstons etc for me to take your approach as a bulldogs collector.

What does everyone else do with the 92/93 cards that have player in one jersey but the card was for another team?

eg: This Nigel Gaffey from 92 was a Roosters card but he was pictured on the card in a Raiders jersey.

There were a few cards like this in 92 with players in Raiders jerseys and I have them in my Raiders PC.

Fortunately the bulldogs didn't seem to have that issue. But if they had i would do what you have and include the ex bulldogs. Same issue applies to the 92 93 And 94 stickers.

Yeah it may be bit over the top lol, my main concern is Knights cards but i decided to expand my collection, the really high end chase cards eg. Boyds signature for Dragons i want but in no rush to get if you know what i mean :)

There weren't any cards of players in a Knights jersey who had left, but there was a lame 1993 Jason Martin card as a new Knights recruit in a Norths jersey. So wrong haha.

I remember at the time I was seriously considering grabbing that 2011 Boyd sig, with him coming to the Knights and expecting him to become a club legend. Glad I didn't now that he has a Knights sig card in this year's Elite.
