2014-15 NBA Free Agents & Signings

You're not wrong, he has so much potential, he needs a coach like pop to set him on the straight and narrow....

Or Rick Carlisle... ;)
No room for him in Big D though, he'd ask for too much $ than they can afford.

But you're 100% right, with the right coach, he could provide quality minutes for the right team.

LOL, I actually like this, but I wonder what he has left in his tank...

According to @SpearsNBAYahoo, the #Mavs have their backup stretch-4 with the signing of Rashard Lewis, who played the last 2 yrs with Miami.

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon 8m
Rashard Lewis' 1-year deal is for the minimum. Mavs still have $2.7M exception.

Cuban and Donnie know how to sign guys, I'll tell ya that!!

Also confirms that Eric Griffin won't be joining us.... #Sad

The Boston Celtics announced today that they have re-signed guard Avery Bradley to a multi-year contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. “We see Avery as a key part of our chase of Banner 18,” said Danny Ainge, Celtics President of Basketball Operations. "He keeps getting better and is still far from reaching his ceiling. We're ecstatic to have him back." NBA.com - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.2136msUd.dpuf

Boshtrich is the number one option this season for the Heat, I'm sure his game is going to step up on level with his Toronto days.

His whole career he's been labelled over-rated, this eyar he gets a chance to prove all the doubters wrong. I hope he brings it.

So ESPN's now reporting that Melo didnt take the max deal..... Yep, gave them a hometown discount.... $5m / 5yrs.... BAHAHAHA!!!!

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...ny-took-less-maximum-contract-new-york-knicks

Carmelo Anthony's new five-year contract with the New York Knicks is worth $124 million, $5 million less than the maximum, according to ESPN New York sources.

Anthony's contract also includes a rare no-trade clause and has an early termination option after the fourth year, according to league sources.

Anthony was eligible to sign a contract for a maximum of $129 million but agreed to a deal worth $5 million less to give the Knicks more financial flexibility to pursue free agents in future summers.

Anthony will make a maximum salary of $22.458 million in the first year of his contract. League sources told ESPN New York that Anthony's contract will increase "slightly" in the second year but less than the maximum increase of 7.5 percent.

Toronto days were good, let's hope he continues that without the lead roles surrounding him.

yeah im with you on that one i just dont want to be seen as a band wagon man.......:cautious:

I will be Wolves first and foremost forever... but if Love gets to Cleveland for anything not a pu pu platter of crap I will be cheering Cleveland on, for the city more than anything... but I can tolerate Cavs Lebron and Cavs Love. And you wouldn't be bandwagon if your primary following in NBA is always a player. :) You follow your player to his new team.

wolves and warriors restart trade talks yay~~~~!!!!!!!

But this is not yay.... I do not want David Lee and Thompson is not worth what he will ask for to stay in Minnesota if Warriors will even budge on trading him. Yuck. I love warriors, but not as much as I love my Wolves... Do not want to get screwed so the big cry baby can get his way.

OT, but I followed Harris everywhere he went after leaving Dallas in Kidd trade to Nets, then Jazz, then Hawks before returning to Mavs, but never once followed his teams, I was always a MFFL!!

Surely HOU has to throw a decent offer at Boozer after lucking out on the Bosh raffle.

They still lack that decent backup big after trading Asik away. Not sure if 3yrd year backup Donatas Motejunas or Rookie Clint Capella count, but outside Dwight and Terrence Jones, they missing any form of solid front court players.

EDIT: I go and do some digging, and find Rockets have signed 2 "bigs"...
Apparently 3hrs ago, there was a tweet saying HOU had signed Jeff Adrien. 6'7" PF played with Bucks & Bobcats last season (oddly enough played with Bobcats year before!). Good backup behind Jones.

Free-agent forward Jeff Adrien has agreed to a one-year, league-minimum deal with the Houston Rockets, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Houston coach Kevin McHale has been an advocate of Adrien's rugged inside play. The Rockets signed him, along with center Joey Dorsey, to complement the team's bench strength.

Not sure about 6'8" Dorsey, hasnt played NBA since playing with Raptors in 2010-11????

Lance Stephenson has signed a 3 year, $27mill deal with the Charlotte Hornets. Year 3 is a team option.

He turned down a 5 year, $44mill deal from the Pacers, feeling he was under valued.

Besides being a knucklehead, Lance apparently can't count too well. $200,000 less a year is undervalued?

In other news, Wade has resigned with the Heat.

Yeah, not surprised, I'd say he's ruffled enough feathers in Indiana.
Plus he wanted to snub his nose at their pathetic offer. (sarcasm)

LOL.

Might be doing what LeBron is by taking a shorter contract to get a bigger one when the new CBA comes into play in a couple years. There is supposed to be a new tv deal which raises revenue, in turn raising cap levels, in turn raising max salaries.
