2014 NBA summer LEAGUES

Goulding takes the court for Mavs
By Jonathan Healy Updated 4 hours ago
Australian guard Chris Goulding scored six points for the Dallas Mavericks in their NBA Summer League game with the Knicks on Saturday.
Goulding was 2-of-8 from the field, with both his baskets coming from three-point range as the Mavs fell to the Knicks 76-64 in Las Vegas.
The Australian started the match on the floor and saw 32 minutes of action as he attempts to impress scouts and win a full-time contract in the NBA.
Australian big man Jordan Vandenberg received a Did Not Play for the Knicks.
Goulding and the Mavericks will next be in action on Sunday (Australian time) against the Timberwolves.

Matthew Dellavedova was the other Australian in action in the Summer League on Saturday and he was victorious with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Dellavedova had 13 points, nine rebounds as six assists as the Cavs held off the Milwaukee Bucks 70-68.

ouch! Shane Larkin - on the injured list for the rest of the season with posterization! :p

Ps. nice cameo from Chris Goulding (he starts in the right corner and then moves to the top of the key and appears in video as Griffin runs back)

Goulding started at SF this morning.
Did OK - was +15 - 2-3 shooting for 6pts, 2 rebs, 1 ast

Jordan Vandenberg was DNP for the Knicks again

Bairstow playing well for the Bulls (game not complete_)

Aussies in Action

Another good game from James Ennis for the Heat, nice mention on NBA.com

James Ennis recorded 17 points, five rebounds and three steals to help secure the win. Ennis returned to the Heat's Summer League team after spending the season in the Australian Basketball League. Ennis earned Summer League Honorable mention last season when he averaged 12.7 points on .444 shooting.

exum finished 4-10, with 10pts, 3reb,3ast.

Doug McDermott dropped 31 today for the Bulls (via trade). He will be the steal of the draft at pick 11. Also watch out for Elrid Payton this year who was picked up by the Magic (via trade) at pick 10. I see real value in those two from a card perspective. Also don't be surprised if you don't see Anthony Bennett put up some decent numbers. Has dropped 20 pounds and with Lebron on the team should blossom.

Julius Randle hit the court for the first time today in a loss for the lakers.

Whilst he numbers weren't all that flash, his play was solid. I also think the Lakers may have found a gem in Jordan Clarkson. Backed up game 1's 21 points with another 16 today. Considering he was a second round pick I think he's caught a few by surprise.

Didnt look to bad considering it was his 1st 5 on 5 play since the championship game. He actually reminds me alot of Derrick Coleman.

True, I hadn't made that comparison. I had a more athletic Zach Randolph in mind but like yours better ha
