logic would say that they are the ones who get it right.

As to gaz, please he gets massive amounts of cheap 1-2's that make his stats look super impressive. I'm not saying He's not a absolute gun because he is, but I see the best as a player that goes in hard for the ball, explodes from packs, can't be tackled, great contested mark, lifts their team, great long kick and can play just about anywhere on the ground.

You guys will most probably think I'm biased being a crows supporter but I feel danger has Gaza covered in most of those area's.

The general consensus seems to be Ablett and Pendlebury in which I agree. (and I am a one eyed pie supporter)
IMHO, what puts Ablett on top is the ability to get the hard ball where Pendlebury doesn't... yet Pendles does have silky smooth skills.

Another interesting question one could start a thread on is " Who do you Nominate as a future brownlow medalist within the next 10 years " I say 10 as many of todays younger players need quite a few years to mature to the levels of the current guns....

This is a no brainer like every one has already said it's abblett jnr mby a long way then there's about 5 others in there own league, but both abblett jnr and senior are the best of all time already abblett jnr doesn't have to even play anymore

I think so as well. Libba is a machine and still very young.

His back end of the season last year was as good as any. If he puts that together for a while season he'll easily win a Charlie.

Was that the game he has 20 contested possessions, crazy.

Ablett is a gun no doubt.
Pebbles is great but lacks in hard ball gets.
Buddy can do just about anything when He's on.
Fyfe great runner, great contested mark lacks polish in field and goal kicking.
Selwood great courages player wins his own and can change games.
Boak is ok but definitely not in the best 5 or 10.

Dangerfield is still susceptible to a quality tag. Can't say this about Pendlebury & Ablett.

I don't think anyone is saying Dangerfield isn't very very good. More that he's in a group of players who are easily their club's best player, but are not necessarily 'elite' yet. At 24 he's also one of the youngest players amongst this group and has the most potential to take that step to elite.

To put how good Fyfe may be in perspective, well he's only 22!

Unfortunately, and I suppose it is media driven, afl supporters tend to put young players up on a pedestal before their time and tend to think they are past their prime when they are still operating as well as ever. Brent Harvey is a prime example. Still North's best player and still improving at 36 seems yet seems to be regarded by opposition supporters and the media alike as a geriatric novelty act.

Anyway, as a Crows supporter you should be over the moon that his best footy is still ahead of him and that thereis scope for improvement.

Clangerfield needs to re-tool his game before he can even be mentioned in the fyfe, franklin, selwood, swan, pendlebury argument.

Where is Ablett above? Oh yeah, he's about 5 x better than anyone else in the league.

Id have him for sure...
But i would have about a dozen players before him if i had my pick of everyone in the comp.

He has shocking disposal and decision making...

He reminds me of a kid playing under 12s. Just runs fast at the ball grabs it and boots it as far as he can up the field

I don't see anyone arguing, we're all in unison that he IS NOT the best player in the comp.

Dangerfield isn't the best player in the comp.
Nor is he in the top 5.
But I do believe that he is in the top 10 if not top 15 players.
I agree in that he can make poor decisions.
But he is one of the hardest players to play the game at the moment.
Every game he gets battered from pillar to post.
He lacks the ability to get uncontested possessions most of his possessions going and getting it his self
