NRL Traders 2014 (Tim Simona) error card

Hi everyone,

We received an email from ESP this morning regarding this card:

NRL Traders 2014 (Tim Simona) error card

The card in question is the Tim Somona card (common, parallel and special parallel) the player image on the card is not correct the player image used is (David Nofoaluma) ESP plans to complete an additional print run of all three card formats, should a collector wish to exchange a Tim Somona card pls refer to the ESP website for the replacement policy procedure.

Both ESP and the NRL consumer product division regret this oversight, rest assured we are committed to rectifying the situation while maintaining the integrity of the release.

I emailed ESP on Monday with photos of PS173, P173 and 4x common 173 (as part of their procedure) and haven't received a reply as yet so I just thought id ask whether anyone has had their cards swapped out or if anyone knows if ESP have even done the additional print run yet?

Hey mate,
Spoke to a mate on the weekend who said he had spoken to them, The print run hasn't been done yet.
He also has sent off the email, He was under the impression when the print was done they would get back to him.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are seeing how many enquiries they get prior to doing a run
- No point getting them printed if they can't offload them I guess.

I sent in a dozen or so Simona's and a silver Parallel Simona - in two lots.

I discussed it with a lady at their offices and she said she had rec'd both my sets of cards and when the reprints were ready, they'd mail 'em out.

I think Ill wait for their reply before I go sending them any cards

I didn't send a photo, but I just rechecked my email form 18th April, and they said they had my cards and were waiting for the reprints and would mail them out when they got them.

I've taken their word for it and I have no doubt they will fulfil their obligation. And I have an email chain, so both sides are covered.

No, as far as i believe they are only for cards where players have the wrong pictures on the card.
