Ok so I need to get 9 cards to finish both my gws and gold coast set!! How pathetic. Especially considering we have the number 1 & 2 draft pick, current beownlow medalist and current rising star!!! Positive is I wont bother buying a box and spend that 200 on cards I need from previous years
You know what, for the hype a card like this would drive a lot of sales. Who says you need to make 200 of them either...... why not make 50. That would drive the sale of boxes and the card would sell for heaps on the secondary market.
While you would be paying him overs for his signature, the marketing benefits would be well worth it.

Purely from a Hawks collector point of view again, but as we are clearly being shafted with no medal winners redemptions again this year wouldn't you think they could do a Dippa or Platten brownlow sig in that signature set to make up for it?
Another point, why has the price gone up? Wouldn't they be saving money because there are no redemption cards this year for the signatures?
Don't like the look of the brownlow signatures, action shots of the players would have looked a hell of a lot better.
Too much of virtually the same thing, same players in both brownlow gallery and brownlow sketch.
Sorry but its another huge miss again from Select. Just one disappointment after another from these guys.

It would be the only time I would waste my hard earned on a case of footy cards rather than a few boxes.
Maybe they are saving so they can outbid any competitors when the license runs out
Plenty of Essendon inserts, but that being said, I will pick up my cards off the secondary market.
Can't justify spending that much on a box when there is a lack of value & fun in busting, and it looks like Select have once again failed to listen to collectors in regards to more limited numbered cards.

Guys i think the players they have missed for brownlow sketch's e.g are going to be in Honours 2 next year as they have missed a few.

Well i can confirm after speaking to my brother and mate that we are not touching this stuff.
I will get what i need from my dealers at the markets and a low numbered Sheed from Ebay.
Even then,
Low numbered Sheed $100.00
Low numbered Chris Judd Masters $100.00
Common set $5.00
Chris Judd Brownlow subset. $5.00
That's 210.00 dollars at most that sellers will make from me and 0 dollars Select will be receiving.
Last year we bought a case each so that's 2500 x 3 that Select won't be getting from us.
I'm curious as to how many people actually are not touching this stuff.
Be honest with what you would have bought normally but lets get a running tally going to see how much in sales Select have lost on here alone.
Perhaps if they read this thread at some point it will start to sink in.

Last year I bought three boxes, probably only get one this year so that's $400 less from me.

As to be thorough, i will only go by last years prices.
So let's say the price is set at 180.00 a box and 2,500 a case.
If anyone disagrees with the prices i have estimated then let me know and i 'll adjust accordingly.
Yep bought two boxes last year and team shares so anoyher three technically. This year I will not touch a box and unsure on team share as tbh juat as easy for me to buy off ebay but may do team share if it gets up and going. So put me down for 4 boxes less that I 100% intended to spend! And in all honesty I was planning more as was expecting avlett brownlow redemption and omeara redemption so probably woild have tried to buy 6 boxes for trade bait!

the thing that really frustrates me is as a small purchaser, i can do nothing about it. got no voice and wont be listened to.
Select will sell out of this product make the cash they wanted, give each other a pat on the back and move onto the next piece of sh*t
See Feebay already has presale of the dps's etc....
my two port ones are at $42 each or near offer.....
Will be able to get my cards for under $100.... fun :/
