Ok guys, I know I'm not as active as before, but I think I've been around enough for me to have a say on this..
Before the forum migrated to this new one and before Graham and Chad took over, a similar thing happened. Tezza (or whatever his name was)... was totally being a smart ass administrator of the site. A lot got sick of him and I suggested to some people that we start a new forum, and get new admins. I dunno what happened after that but it pushed through.. OzCards found a new home and Graham and Chad took over together with Kyle. I don't know how they picked the moderators (Metallica etc) but it was much better than just having Kyle (who was cool) and the tool Tezza in command. People graciously gave $ and OzCards was a MUCH better place.
Now- I know everyone here thinks and feels like they are an important part of the OzCards community, and that is true. But that does not give anyone the right to challenge and talk crap PUBLICLY against the mods. I am not sucking up to them believe me, Chad and I have our differences, and I don't talk to Graham outside the forum, nor Kyle... but they are the authorities of this site now. We submit to them. Once you don't, that's when problems will arise. That's how things work. That's why authorities are placed in this world. Without authority, we'd all go down. Why? Coz everyone is "right".
Now that doesn't mean the place is run perfectly.. it never will be. The mods will make mistakes here and there, such as deleting threads without warning, but that still doesn't give anyone the right to start a revolution or threathen resignations. Ask for an audience in private. If you don't get one, suck it up and go on with your forum life. It's a priviledge to post and trade here, not a right.
So relax people. OzCards is great.. *enter patriotic music* we all have differences but this place unites us as we all love the hobby...
But PLEASE don't let it be your life. There's more to life than cards and basketball.
Don't harbor hatred against a fellow poster just coz he doesn't like your fave player. Don't puff up your pride just coz you own the best cards around... Keep OzCards a fun and relaxing hobby..
