Never thought I'd see the day Merritt got dropped. It'l be good to see how this Alex Turner kid handles NRL

Merritt hasn't been in good touch for a bit now.

My father-in-law was adamant they were keeping him in first grade so he could break the try record and probably shift him on as soon as he did. It appears that may be the case. If you look at the back line of Reddy, Tuqiri, Goodwin, Merritt…it was all a bit on the older side. It certainly will be interesting if Turner has a few good games.

That said, Nathan is a club legend, so I hope he can fight his way back in and finish the season strongly.
