COMC Mailbox Thread

Like I said before, I'm waiting to hear back from someone in management before I can say anything more about the backlog, other than that they're aware of the situation and the processing team is doing what they can to get caught up.

And, if a card is deposited past it's due date, you should only be charged half the processing fee; we've updated the software to catch these late cards/past dates. If anything was past due but still processed with the full fees, we'll make up the difference on your next deposit.

As of this morning, here's what I'm waiting on

But are they really? I mean we were told at the start of the week that they are processing newer items to minimize the losses on processing fees which itself is a huge slap to the face of the consumer. Fact that the matter is, if they aren't working fast enough or there isn't enough people on the task, you are eventually going to get overwhelmed by more delays which has happened already, barely one week after this new strategy has been implemented.

I'm thinking there is much more that can be done other than 50% off processing.

Asking us slave away for COMC to have our items "fast tracked"? No thanks.

Better idea, how about we pay whatever fee is required and COMC ensures items get processed on time? Sounds fair to me.

Yes, I believe we really are.

While we're focusing on completing the catalog, we're also expanding our staff in order to get through the backlog and ensure that we're caught up on all the processing. We've been bringing in new staff and working to get everything done.

As always, if you have options, we're open to hearing them - COMC has always been customer driven and some of our innovations and service modifications have come from customer suggestions. Of course, if you don't want to participate in the fast tracking, that's your choice, too.

Thanks for all the feedback/replies Moe.

You must hate being the emotional 'punching bag' for us here in Australia.. and we're probably such a small market for you guys also. I assume comc would also be copping it from all sides of the globe along the same lines as what has transpired in this thread.

Only one positive thing I can add, which is the sentiments with most people I talk to.
And that is if the rewards for the challenges were more substantial then more people would assist in the transition and building your database.

Currently, one challenge takes me between 2:30-3:00mins - 50 correct (hopefully) answers gets you 100 points = $0.10
So between 23 -30mins to make $1.00

That just isn't feasible for people to spend their time doing that.

Comc could pay more for the challenges, take a hit now, and be back on its feet a lot quicker.

im waiting on a few too hope it doesnt take too long. and i know this is a question out of nowhere but, if comc was to fail or go bankrupt for some reason does everyone lose their cards?

I don't see how they would as what they are holding is not the property of COMC. We'd all just have to pay for the shipment home.

Hey @Moe@COMC I'm trying to dispatch the items in my mailbox, however I'm a little concerned with how some of my items are appearing

Additionally, I was charged the full processing rate for this, with info stating that its a 2015 product. I submitted the correct data back on 3rd April however there is no change to it.

If i proceed with the dispatch process, how can I make sure the cards are correctly listed on the dispatch sheet for reference (in case anything happens in transit that I need to contact you guys about?)

So things are still slow? Because I have two cards currently there and the one that arrived second is now in my inventory manager but the one that arrived earlier is not.

question about delivery to Australia... i know the priority is faster but do you think its any more safe? i hate international mail, 1 in 5 seem to go missing for me! im wanting to post over $200-$300 worth of cards but still dont want to pay nearly $50 for registered. Or should i split my order in 2 standard rapid posts so if 1 does get lost i still get half? lol sorry i know its dumb but i have panic attacks over this stuff! Can you raise insurance on the rapid or priority?

I've never had a package lost from COMC and postage, in my opinion is one of the things they really excel at.

I've had packages on rapid get door to door in 5 working days.

so far i have had 2 comc orders... the first one never came but comc refunded it, the last one came but i was stressing hard as it took 3 weeks! im sure if high value packages go missing comc wont cover it so wanted to know if some kind of insurance is possible but keeping it around $20 - $30 at most

@Moe@COMC curious on this too, are pictures of the items used by shipping staff? i want to request a shipment and a couple of items have incorrect card descriptions. will they be processed fine?

Hi, sorry I didn't see this earlier - the pictures and card ID numbers are used by the staff, to get around issues like missing card information. They check the card info and the images when preparing shipments, and everything is supposed to match before they proceed.

ok thanks Moe. So they match pictures and Items no's, should be no issue then. Was just a bit concerned over items like these:

Do we not get our processing fee back for donating to charity any more??

Interested in this as well... I thought when processing went up to $1/card COMC we could donate to chaity and not get charged processing. I have started back to sending group breaks to COMC (cpl on the way with a few base) and I wouldnt have to pay $1 for base o low end inserts to get processed.... Not getting the processing refund for donating these cards would mean that this would not be feasible.
