matty i agree with the majority about a gift being a gift - no strings attached.
You have no obligation at all.
What i dont agree with is the notion that the person dosnt collect that player, i dont have in my sig MJ, LJ, Kobe , Wade, Shaq etc but that dosnt mean i dont collect them, it just means i cant afford them

I still woudlnt give the card away, but i would offer the person to trade it (if i didnt want it).

If you send a gift off, you no longer want it, you want someone else to have it, and you don't expect something in return.

Agree with you Matty. If you send someone a gift, then there are no strings attached. I mean, if I send Nanda some common Dwight cards as a gift, I dont expect him to send his next great Dwight pick-up too me because I may want it...

just say it was me matt and be done with,i send you a few patches and gameused if my memory is correct,and i see something i like of yours and you crap on its the end of the world to the whole board...send them back if ya dont want them,and ill give them to someone who does!!

Dude you called yourself out, i never mentioned a name and cards will be returned in the mail in the next few days after my nanna's funeral, and in future dont give out PRESENTS if you expect something in return
and if memory recalls you had a go at me because i traded away another card before you had ever asked for it aswell...
and i never said i didnt want them, i said i wouldnt have had a problem sending you a Ben Wallace or Stackhouse card, you dont collect Kobe, and its not like i've got an abundance of cards to be able to trade with
And thanks for this too mate, i really needed this after just getting back from the funeral parlour after the viewing of my nan's body, really appreciated dude
