So I received my DACW today. The package looked like it had been opened , good news is all contents are inside the box and sealed.

Unfortunately one of the Titanium boxes looks pretty worse for wear. Just from feeling the box, it appears all the packs have become lose. Anyone been in a similar situation? Would the cards be damaged inside the box?

looks like that box took the brunt of whatever heavy crap the courier diceded to sit on top it. I would image theres a good chance of some of those cards being damaged in some way.

I would get in touch with DACW and see what they can do, just keep that box in the plastic seal.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking as well. Sucks not being able to open them!

hopefully the box is insured....
Not sure to be honest, I don't think DACW offers that as a option.

From the looks of it, the package had been repacked as well. The Titanium boxes were sitting at the very bottom when I opened it. Yet everything else on top of it was fine...

I can tell you from experience that the box was most likely opened whilst going through customs in the US. I brought back several boxes with on my trip there, they can't xray them when so tightly packed so they need to open them.

Ah that would make sense. The least they can do is show a little more care :cautious:

Stop worrying about the damaged box and BUST THOSE SUCKAS!!!!!!

LOL

I mean..... hope you don't end up with damaged cards you can't send back!

Hope everything isn't damaged, looks like a fun bust coming up.

I'm sure I read somewhere that dacard take photos/video of all they're packages. Not 100% though

Yeah they do. Although I think it got damaged and opened after it left DACW. Either way I will follow it up with them.

Customs often open boxes and search contents. It is not out of the ordinary, and within their right, for them to open sealed cases and re-seal.

I believe they then check the price of the goods against the retail price of items.

Ive had items opened by customs but also had a sticker placed on the item that states 'Been Opened By Customs'. Not sure they use these anymore

At what $$ value do you have to pay customs fees in Australia? It is $400NZ over here - so can pretty much only order one mid-high end box at a time, and no fully high end.

I thought it was $1000. Was a couple years back when i ordered 4 wheels and tyres from the US.

Every now and then Gerry Harvey pipes up about how the government should lower it.
