Some might think this is a boring thread, but I figure one must give credit where credit is due. =D>

My wife goes back to Perth (while I work two x twelve hour days) for a weekend to see the City Muster (a BIG country music concert for those not in the know! [-X ) :D

She decides to pay JustDaBestCards a visit in his shop at the Wanneroo markets (there you go, Justin ... thought I'd give you a plug) and comes back with this:

Tara collects coz she thinks the players she collects are "hot"...maybe get your wife into it the same way Ace =D>
 
Wow that was a nice gesture!

The other day my Fiance asked if she could open up a bubble mailer I had received .....I said sure go for it!

All went well until she asked those very unnerving words.....

so its not just my wife :lol:

i get my stuff posted to work, bust them at work and wait till she gets to bed before i take them out of my bag , hence the late maildays.
My wife hates sport so there is no chance of her taking any interest :( .
What she dosnt know dosnt hurt me. ;)
 
hopefully they all never meet.
Or maybe they can get lessons from whereswally, mattyj, aussie2al and all the other supportive wives.

I would pass out if my wife bought be any card let alone that amare.

I must admit there has been the odd heated discussion about $$$ spent, but we seem to have worked that out in the last fortnight or so.

She thinks Tony Parker is hot, so I am working hard to get her to start her own collection - especially if one day she asks if she can buy/bust a box to get some TP cards ;) - I am awaiting for that day eagerly - if she asks for my recommendation on which box - I think a box of Exquisite might be the way to go - what does everyone think?? :D

So I reckon MattyJ has the right idea with Tara!!!!

As for training, I'll discuss that with Kylie and see what she thinks :)
 
Actually, while I am on the topic of her TP card collection, I'll give a big public thanks to ScottSophie for helping me out there ... what a legend!!! =D>
 
My missus and I have a deal... I dont ask about how on her clothing she spends, and she doesnt ask me about the cards... I have trained about how to handle them after she picked my graded George Gervin and had a look, before throwing it back on the desk, rather than placing it gently... the training consisted of me saying "do that again and your sleeping on the floor"... hopefully the training worked:rolleyes:
