I've seen red, gold, silver and blue, not sure why different colors. I don't believe they are short printed, I just think that like Intrigue, certain players sign in their own colors.

Elliott has both blue and red ink signatures in this particular set. They seem to be early numbers in red

Beckett mentions there are some signed in red, but print run is unknown.
