So it appears people are interested in buying packs put together by other members.

There has been a long standing rule here regarding these packs and the fact we do not allow them.

Should we start allowing them?

Should we allow them with restrictions on who can sell them (eg Premium Members only)?

Please vote on the poll and comment below. I'm interested to hear what the community wants.

I'm for them only if the list of contents are made clear up front so you know what you have a chance of getting in your packs.

Cheers

Yep I think the complete list of what is available to be pulled, including any base, needs to be shown. The packs should also guarantee a hit or a auto or similar per pack with a minimum value to ensure certain packs are not loaded with base only.

I say yes but with restrictions, probably similar to the OzGroup breaks with Cherry for group breaks, where X number of members can do them or are subject to mod approval with a list of contents made clear

Spot on!

Definitely agree to the standard rules of mystery packs as stated above (contents of each pack know, only shipping/opening them when all are sold)

Main thing for me is that the packs should be random and theres no favoritism/rigging so that a friend gets the best hit

Only way I can see this being guaranteed is to do the pack selection/opening live, or to have a mod random the lists, so they know exactly which members will be getting which cards.

The people love them, very popular!

I agree it should be clear ratios of hits (like official merch) and fully random.

They need to have 'mystery' so I don't like the idea of showing hits (well too many) prior to release.

"Mystery" is great, but there has to be some rules.

It's unfair if a seller comes out and sells 100 packs at $10 each and the best card you could possibly pull is a $20 Chris Bosh auto. The seller walks away with $1000, knowing he/she has moved $200 worth of cards. To me it's has potential for some sellers to rip others off.

To make things fair, what is included in packs has to equal the total value of what the seller is making from those packs. $1000 of packs = $1000 of cards.

Mystery can apply, not knowing what you have in the pack you bought is a mystery! But every buyer wants to know what they can potentially pull!
