1995 Force Five Signature set all No 49 of 50/1000

Hi guys I'm thinking of moving this set on I have a price in mind but would like some feedback on what the collectors here think this set is worth. I pulled this card from a box back in the day and have had the set stored ever since any opinions would be appreciated thanks. (Pics below hope they worked)

Hard question but I'll have a go. Assuming the regular Force5 redeemed 3 card set is going for +-$100, I'd put this set into the $500-750 range. Rare but also limited demand these days.

Agreed its a hard one to pick, especially for me as a Dragons collector as there's obviously none in this set so I haven't ever really cared.

That said I was thinking $500 was the upper limit. Hard to break up as well because wasn't the redemption for all 5 cards and not a individual redemption for each card?

I think the value would be twofold; the limited release (50) redemption entitling the holder to all 5x Force 5's, bear in mind only 50 exist! And the fact all 5 hold the same number. I would not see the point in breaking the set up so you cannot limit the value based on this, in its current state this set is very collectable. Collectors love having all the same number and therefore you can get a premium price for this alone! Bugger all complete sets like these would exist hence why you rarely see for sale if at all.

The redemption card alone is the rarest of all cards released pre 2004 isn't it? I would think sale price of the set in NM/M condition would not be too far shy off $1K if it were to go to market at a $1 no reserve auction. The market would push the price to this limit and maybe beyond no question.

Is that a $1k NZ dollars? Actually that joke doesn't work so well any more does it....now we are almost at parity.

I would defer to your call as said it's not a set I've ever had an interest in, to me being same number is of little value and not something I would personally place a premium on unless they were all a special number e.g. #1, Too me if I could get them individually as a 3 card set (as opposed to a two card set) for around the $100 mark that to me would be the way to go.

Come on $500AU???? The last one of these ultra rare sets sold on Ebay almost 2 years ago for over $1300AU.... This is one of the rarest and hardest sets to find so I am with Moz here , on any given day this set would easily fetch $1500AU and upwards....
