Official 2013-14 NBA Regular Season Thread - SPOILERS!

That's not how you set a screen at all. You're supposed to be a wall. Fisher is strong but not as strong as Lebron. Lebron could have cleaned him up and no way he would have gotten a foul.

You must have never played the game and your love of Lebron is blurring your eyes.

So if LeBron had of anchored himself, stepped back and leaned forward to brace himself for impact, it would of be a foul on him right? I'm not sure how anyone can stand upright with two feet next to each other, take a hit like that and not fall over backwards.

First of all, of course if Lebron "stepped back and leaned forward", he may have gotten the foul. But if he just stood there and braced himself (hence what a screen is) Fisher would have gone flying. 115kg vs 95kg (surprised Fisher is that heavy, he is strong, but not Lebron strong). Second, screeners "stand upright with two feet next to each other, take a hit like that and not fall over backwards" all of the time. Have you played the game before?

It's quite simple, Lebron was drawing the foul. Smart move. I just think he could've stood there and set the screen like he was supposed to instead of flopping (yep I said it, another flop by Lebron, quite rightly though, it was a good play) I just think it's pretty soft from the self titled "chosen one".

Not sure where they were in the game, may have lead to free throws or at least another team foul or at least just the personal to Fish.

I'm a neutral supporter of Lebron, I have laid money on the Heat the last 2 years to win the title and I have again this year, but I also can see where he's being a wimp or doing something stupid. His fanboys can't seem to see it.

I am a recent Lebron fan/convert but there is no way in hell I am going to say that he didn't flop on that screen. Or do I need to say "sold the contact"??

He did not try to take that standing up, he always intended to go down. If you believe otherwise, you are naive IMO

Called out by a guy with blind love for the man? lol

Yes, but my reasons are not irrational ha ha. It's because he is someone i'll tell my kids about when they watch basketball. "Should of seen LeBron in game 6 of the finals v spurs 2013!".

He missed the game tying 3 but was saved by a Bosh rebound and clutch Ray Allen corner 3!

LeBron almost lost them the game with his 2 unforced turnovers. You might want to show them another game.
