The 2013 ESP Elite Number #1 Trading Card Auction

Wow the "auction overtime" will be interesting:

Please note that all auctions on this site utilise overtime bidding. This means if a successful bid is placed within 5 minutes of the scheduled closing time of an auction, then the auction will go into overtime. Auction overtime results in the closing time for the auction being reset to 5 minutes from the time the bid was recorded. An auction will continue to be extended until there are no further bids for a continuous 5 minute period.
sounds like golden point or 5 min halves to me.

You can't reattach the sticker yourself. Well, you could but the NRL logo would vanish and the sticker would just have the word "VOID" all over it.
is the point of the sticker suppose to be a micro-chip sticker, where it contains info of the card eg, the player on the card, the number of the card, the date it was produced, the maker of the card, how many were produced etc.
If the sticker is missing then the card is void for a start, and worth only what a common card is.

Is anyone else surprised with 3 days to go how low the prices are for these?

I reckon there will be a frenzy at the end

Ross

Personally, I think you are correct. A lot of people wait till the last minute to start bidding.

I think Matt said the total is over $5000 at the moment - will be interesting to see how much higher it goes.

Is it fair to say, that if Select had never kept all of their number 1's over the years, then ESP wouldn't have held their's back either? Good to see years of collector frustration benefiting charity in the end.

At the moment the Greg Inglis card is the most expensive card at $295 and Charly Runciman is the highest of the Future Stars at $196.....I hope there are lots of huge bids at the end which will go to the charities!

Just under 3 days to go!!!
