Got a feeling that the Heat will go pretty hard after Bynum, and the have the Mid level exception to pay him. Not a bad center rotation: Bosh, Anderson, Oden and Bynum….three peat!!!
What do you guys think?

Hopefully none!
The guy says he is not sure/doesn't want to play basketball anymore and teams want to give him $$ still???!!??? unbelievable.
massive gamble by the team if they do. guy is a black hole.
Granted he's a gamble, but the rewards for the Heat will be huge if he's motivated…..there's the answer to Hibberd…..three peat!!!

Anyone know why he is no longer interested in playing?
I thought Cavs was a good fit since it was his hometown or something like that.
He was a beast in the Lakers but downhill after that.

Why are Heat supporters still so excited about 0den for starters? He hasn't lined up yet, not nearing a start and when he does, he ain't gonna do squat!

With Bynum, he has lost all passion to play the game, thus he wanted out, so whoever ends up with him may have wasted a lot of $.

I think Bynum will join the Heat. I hope it's not detrimental to Greg Oden's path to playing - he will be the Hibbert stopper!
Oden has been on the court practicing hard. Bynum will fit in well though... Riley and the Heat organisation have a good record with straightening out misfits.

Beasley wanted to turn it around though. Has Bynum said anything about it? Like he wants to play for a contender and was just lying about not wanting to play anymore to get out of Cleveland. This guy Bynum... lol - some people would kill for the chance to play for ANYONE and he's burning bridges left and right

That's when the "misfits" want to be straightened out. Bynum has already said he no longer has the passion to play the game any more. He needs to want it first.

Who cares, lazy, fat, unmotivated, injury prone, and a locker room cancer, any team stupid enough to go after him deserves all the bad luck that will come to them, he's just another washed up overpaid chump, if he put half the effort into basketball as he did into shagging the assistant coaches wife then he would be a star again lol

He isn't on Hibbert's level... Not even close, why do people even make the comparison? Heat fans dreaming again...... They shouldn't even need to worry about Hibbert so much if they can shut George and West down...

Bynum is a bum, closely tied with JR Smith as the biggest cancer in the league..... He has also stated he wants to get PAID if he conitunes in the NBA, he won't go anywhere for cheap if there's a better offer...

Dude just needs to go away, really, he's done and dusted..

Wants to get paid like Sprewell when he refused a $21-million three-year contract offer from the Timberwolves, which he implied would not be enough to feed his children. Since that time, he has made headlines for grounding his million dollar yacht, having two of his homes foreclosed upon, and being prohibited from seeing his children

Yep, while there a number of teams that would be willing to take that big, fat, lazy gamble. I could see him ONLY wanting to go to a contender, compete (somewhat) and then quit for good at season end.

If he's turning his back on basketball, what smarts has he got to get another job with sufficient pay to feed his children?

Guys like Bynum give me the shits, such a waste of talent and don't give a rats about anyone except themself.

Australian Army or US Army could buy him and use him for target practise coz that's all guys like him are useful for. :)

The second coming of Eddy Curry..... Maybe the Nets can somehow work out a nice 'Kirilenko-ish' type deal so the league can implement a super-duper luxury tax or something. Dallas is meant to be in hot pursuit since they're hardly a contender in the west at the moment, he's a high risk, high reward proposition. Back in the day people said similar things about Dennis Rodman too - somebody will pay him....................unfortunately.

KG reigning in Bynum? Take him under his wing?
I think KG has enough on his plate!

"washed up" "bum" "cancer" whatever. I still think in the Heat organisation, for the mid level exception, he's a great fit. Infact it might revitalise his career….as it has with Beasley.

I like him with the Heat too Ang. He, like Beasley would flourish on a winning team I believe.
