^ Agree with that 100%, usually im the one finding every possible thing wrong with a release and owen will agree with me there haha.

but this release is just great, not even the sticker autos are enough to stop me wanting to purchase some signatures of my favourite players. theres something for every team to collect. and the player selection is pretty amazing too.

if your not sold on the authenticity then simple dont buy, i have no question that the autos are legit, there might be some question surrounding game worn, but i think you'll find if they aren't game worn, at the very least they would still be event worn.
 
Its me that was looking at buying but after hearing about the investigation where Topps and I think other local publishers were involved, where a lot of cards got released, were fakes, and a guy went to jail over it. I'm going to be questioning when something doesn't look right especially when it's stuck on and there is no evidence to prove. Yes youre right, if not comfortable don't buy, and sure I'll be cherry picking some of these Topps cards that I am totally comfortable are legit. Thanks everyone.

Picked up Ashley Young 1/5 jersey #1 single colour but stil a nice card. Lol I will end up having a 10-15 card Fellaini and Young PC by months end. I wish there was a little more variety in the autos as in a couple more players from each club. CR7 autos are still going for more than I am prepared to pay. I am so tempted to grab a stevie g auto just coz its a great looking card and regardless of his club the fella is a legend.
 
I think people should realise that ALL card companies are dodgy in one way or another!

In regards to the Benteke auto, I agree with @GiRDS-, it's not a fake but more of a rushed auotgraph (Shorthand signature). Given he had to sign over 500+ stickers, I think he got to a stage where he cbf doing them all in his full signature. A real shame for the collector but a common occurrence (Most Futera auto's are shorthand sigs by the players).

I did come across a story a while back, where a card company gave a professional wrestler x amount of cards/ stickers to sign. When these cards/stickers were returned to the company,the company asked the wrestler why there was such a variance in all the signatures, only for the wrestler to turn around and say 'friends and family helped me sign them'. So no one is immune to such type of errors but quality control (such as here) should pick up on it.

So if you are concerned about authenticity etc. just don't buy it, simple as that. End of the day as a buyer you should know what you are buying, so you should always do you homework before buying. For every Liverpool signature, i know, what the signatures should look like etc.. This way I know it is authentic. I'm not sold on the sticker auto's but I'm still going for Gerrard auto's.

@shawnkemp40 & @GiRDS- stay away from the Gerrard autos, they are all dodgy :p :whistle:

I really like the fact that they have finally realised that there is a market out there for EPL cards that are not cruddy match attax (still collect them but no interest in them at all). So eventual kudos to Topps for that.
Some of the youtube box breaks look a bit hit and miss, if you're getting a Fulham or Stoke 1 colour jersey instead of an auto of, say, Gerrard or Lampard. Sticker autos are a modern day sacrifice but the dual/triples etc are great.

Just waiting on some of the /99 and /11 base parallels to stabilise before dipping my toe in.
 
Got the Young /25 auto this morning. Being pretty much only 3 players for each team makes it relatively affordable to grab some great PC however a little strange getting a combination of 5 auto / jersey cards of one player. I agree with Raj, there will be a lot more options to pick up cards cheaper one we and the UK start getting cases /boxes in. Is anyone actually doing a group break?

Favourite club is 'The Villa' hence why my interest in this collection. I am quite happy to get the regular cards. Will say no on the parallel's, there are far too many. I have decided not to pursue the autographs due to lack of footballer not having some sort of relationship with the card with a sticker being stuck on by someone else.
For the Memorabilia cards, I will probably buy, Christian Benteke and perhaps a Tonev.

LOL, spot on. I wouldn't be surprised if this fellow were a Futera shill.

As for the jersey cards, unfortunately they appear to only have been worn at events such as the signing session below. Hence why on the cards themselves Topps only states "player-worn" rather than the more attractive "match-worn."
