Tell him to make the base cards 18 cards per team which includes team emblem and coach cards, and also rookie players with ROOKIE written on their base cards....or I shall burn all my ESP cards in a public display of rage.

Not a bad idea. It does seem a shame leaving the coach and reserves out of the team sets, although with more base cards this could leave less room in packets for inserts.

That's a good idea except for the burning of cards in a public display of rage which I won't be doing!

It would be a shame if ESP don't listen to the buyers though, it's them that will be losing out in the end! Great work though Owen. Can't wait to do more of these surveys.

I have a suggestion for nrl trading cards that we haven't seen a lot of! Caricature cards. All regular squad players from every team including coach and mascots if it can be done. Just a suggestion

FYI - I have spoke to and passed the results back to ESP. They were very receptive to the feedback.

Interesting results, some of it would be hard to interpret. Given NRL has no Select, Teamcoach etc and AFL has no ESP then number of respondents from each code skews results.

I thought they may have been skewed as well Ross until i drilled down and looked at the responses from AFL and NRL collectors individually.

Interestingly the only significant difference in the results were that AFL collectors seem to spend more than NRL collectors.
