Official 2013-14 NBA Regular Season Thread - SPOILERS!

Funny sh1t happened in the Miami V Nuggs game.. Norris cole went down hard on his face fouled on a lay-up gets 2 FT's.. couldn't continue on the game to take the FT, Joel Anthony assists in walking COle back to the locker room.
So Brian Shaw chooses Joel Anthony to take the FT's... of which he has not shot one in game this whole season..

After a delay of game for the Heat Anthony makes it to the stripe and cooly knocks down both FT's/// then a foul/sub then he struts back to the bench where teammates all joke around with him!!! haha

4mins to go in the game LeBron wastes the whole clock trying to make something, then hands off with 2 seconds left on the shot clock to a guy in the bottom corner who is guarded up close..

*flapping stupid*

he could be a so much better player.

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love thought he was fouled by Dallas Mavericks' Shawn Marion at the end of Monday night's game. The NBA has agreed. Rod Thorn, NBA President of Basketball Operations, issued a statement Tuesday saying that Love should have gotten the call, which could have changed things in the Mavericks' 100-98 win at the Target Center. "Through postgame video review, we have determined that Minnesota's Kevin Love was fouled on the right arm by Dallas' Shawn Marion while attempting a two-point field goal," Thorn's statement read. "Love should have been awarded two free throws with one second left on the clock." Courier-Post - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.9HNMiQTw.dpuf

Bynum not coming back to Hollywood

Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum will forever be linked as Laker teammates. They won’t be linked as centerpieces of a deal, however, that would involve Gasol going to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Bynum going to the Lakers. According to a league source familiar with the details, the Lakers wouldn’t accept such a proposal as reported by ESPN.com. Los Angeles Daily News

One, the Lakers have no desire to bring back Bynum. His role in bringing two NBA championships with the Lakers was soured with behavior issues before ultimately being part of a four-team traded that brought Dwight Howard to the Lakers last season. Bynum was also indefinitely suspended by the Cavaliers for conduct detrimental to the team. Bynum has only averaged 8.4 points on 41.9 percent shooting and 5.3 rebounds in 20 minutes. Secondly, the Lakers aren’t keen on the deal even if it would involve immediately waiving Bynum and saving up to $20 million in payroll and luxury taxes. The Lakers would owe Bynum $6 million of his $12.3 million salary if he was waived before Jan. 7. Los Angeles Daily News

Third, the Lakers are currently hoping Gasol will bounce back from a sub-par season where he has averaged only 14.7 points on a career-low 44.6 percent shooting. Gasol, who is making $19.3 million in the final year of his contract, is slated to play when the Lakers (13-18) host the Milwaukee Bucks (6-24) tonight at Staples Center after sitting three of the past five games because of an upper respiratory infection. If Gasol were to be dealt, the Lakers would want far more in value. Per NBA rules, the Cavaliers would have to include another player to make the deal work. Los Angeles Daily News

It appears more likely that Rondo would join the Claws on assignment in order to get practice reps than game action, though that's an option. Stevens admitted he's uncertain if Rondo would appear in games. "No idea if he plays in a game or not, it may just be practice," said Stevens. "That’s all to be determined. And still very much just a talking point more so than a certainty." ESPN.com
