Just what we need, another injury just before the world cup.

Good to see Hayden hitting some form, hopefully the foot injury isnt too serious. It was also good to see Shane Watson get some runs, with Symonds out, it looks as though he'll be our allrounder.

Wow... that was NZ's 2nd XI & they still won..... that McCallum is amazing, I though the swat shot off McGrath on Sunday was great, but that flip off the legs from outside off stumps for six is even better !!!

Another incredible win for the kiwis!!! I am stunned with what they've done the last 3 games. To be 40-4 chasing 350 and win is unbelievable - maca was fantastic and McCullum walked it home superbly. I must admit even from a rabid kiwi fan we were lucky in the final 5 overs. Gillespie hit 28 off 15 balls and I reckon 20 of them were french cuts and snicks past the slips.

As for OZ - I said a month ago - they can't stop anyone scoring. - In the last 15 months they've conceded the 4 biggest successful run chases in history - as well as 2 more where NZ nearly ran down 330+
To beat them u bowl first no matter what and never give up. Watson needs to go - he is too emotional - celebrates too much when he gets a wicket and has massive dummy spits when he's hit - needs to be more level headed - Mitchell Johnson needs a better slower ball desperately.

Hayden's innings was incredible - small boundaries and the wicket was a road but he was superb - Him and Gillespie had a great running battle all series - Gilly got him in game 1 and 2 then broke his toe - then got smashed all round the lower Nth Island!!!

Gonna be a great world cup......

Looks like you were right mate! Why don't they pick Ben Hilfenus? He did an excellent job in his one game for us didn't he? Hopefully we can sneak into the semis and have Symonds/Lee back at full strength. By all accounts it sounds like we won't be playing Hogg at the world cup. Just having a pace attack and as it stands right now we are gonna need 4 fast men and Symonds/Watson to share the fifth bowling responsibilties. None of those guys who bowls that may as well friggin bowl underarm full tosses!
